Honestly, seeing “CEX net outflows totaled 6,916.29 BTC over the past 7 days” took me back to how I used to be.

Argentina’s Central Bank Won’t Push Crypto Into Banking for Two Years
Argentina is keeping its banking system separate from direct crypto services for now—despite the country’s high retail adoption.
Juan Curutchet, superintendent of financial and foreign-exchange institutions at Argentina’s central bank, said there will be no changes to crypto and digital-asset rules in banking and payment channels in the near term. He indicated that the 2022 prohibition on financial institutions offering crypto services will remain in place for the next two years.
Curutchet said Argentina’s current economic fragility limits the case for moving ahead now. He left the door open to revisiting integration later, particularly in a possible second Milei presidency, but stressed that this was a future agenda rather than an imminent policy shift.
The restriction does not ban Argentines from using crypto. It prevents BCRA-regulated banks from directly offering or facilitating crypto services, while virtual-asset service providers remain subject to the separate CNV registration framework. Some banking groups are reportedly exploring stablecoin-related projects through separate entities to stay within the current rules.news.
My take: This is a delay, not a rejection of crypto. Argentina’s high adoption means demand already exists, but the central bank appears unwilling to add crypto exposure to the banking system while macroeconomic vulnerabilities remain. The key watchpoint is whether BCRA eventually replaces the 2022 prohibition with a supervised bank-crypto framework.
