🚀 From $80 to $8,000 on a single coin: I’m launching a trading marathon!
Hi everyone! I’ve decided to run a tough experiment and find out whether it’s possible to grow a small deposit into a substantial sum using strict discipline and aggressive money management.
My goal: turn $80 into $8,000 (100x the deposit).
Instrument: futures, trading only coin $NEAR .
My strategy (yes, it’s crazy, but I believe in the uptrend):
1. Long only: I only trade upward. No shorts—I’m looking to catch a global reversal and NEAR’s momentum.
2. 45x leverage: Maximum exposure. Yes, liquidation is close, but profits can also come in at lightning speed.
3. Averaging down: If the price moves against me, I’ll add to my position (average down) to shift my entry point in a more favorable direction.
I’ll post every step, every trade, and screenshots of my PnL (profits and losses) right here. This will either be a legendary triumph or the fastest way to blow through $80 in history.

Why is #Near holding at $5.2–$5.3, and why is shorting it now a huge risk? ❌
Guys, under my last post about my +133% spot profit, many of you asked: “Should I take profits on the rest or open a short at current prices?” Let’s take off the rose-colored glasses and look at the hard fundamentals the team just rolled out, here in October 2026:
1. NEAR Business is moving the market: The protocol has launched a unique confidential multisig treasury platform. Web3 companies can now make private settlements across 35 blockchains (including BTC and Solana). This is a direct bridge for big institutional money.
2. HSP-029 vote: House of Stake is discussing a sharp cut to the token’s annual emissions, from 2.5% to 1.6%. Fewer coins on the market means a higher price.
3. The ETF is wide awake: The Bitwise NEAR spot ETF is consistently recording capital inflows. The coin is simply being bought up from the market.
My verdict: Shorting against this freight train is like trying to stop one with your bare hands. I’m holding on to my remaining 500 coins.
