"Rich Dad Poor Dad" author Robert Kiyosaki said holding assets outside government-issued currency is part of financial preparedness, in an Oct. 3 statement on X. Likening his "financial prepper" approach to carrying car insur-ance, he said, "I only want money the government cannot print," pointing to gold, silver and bitcoin. Kiyosaki argued cash savings lose buying power to taxation and inflation, and cited Bitcoin's 21 million-coin supply cap in support of scarce assets. He added that he also owns oil wells and rental apartments for income, with governments among his biggest oil buyers.
