I don’t know when it started, but no matter how much the market rises, I remain calm. In fact, downturns excite me, because they mean I finally have another chance to keep adding to my positions. My past experiences have shaped who I am today. That change hasn’t just happened in investing—it’s carried over into my life, too. I’ll never touch leveraged contracts, and I’ll never go all in. I’ll stick strictly to my investment discipline and use AI to continually optimize my asset allocation based on my income, cash flow, risk tolerance, and stage of life, choosing investments that suit me and allocating my assets more wisely. But I won’t make investing the most important thing in my life. Because I know that continual growth, a healthy body, and ever-expanding skills are the assets that can truly weather any cycle. The purpose of investing is to build a foundation for life, giving us the means to plan further into the future, do the things we truly love, and stop compromising our values for money. Right now, I feel like I’m standing at the start of a new track. This isn’t a sprint—it’s a marathon. Keep going, friends. Past achievements don’t define the future. Right now, we’re all at the same starting line. Let’s move forward together and become better versions of ourselves.

Many people don’t understand why a group of people have continued to invest in building and developing BTC over the long term. Recently, there have been many discussions about BTC’s technology, security, and future development. I used AI to make a video that tries to explain the questions people care about. I hope it can help more people understand Bitcoin. Technology is the primary productive force, while consensus is one of the most important foundations of BTC’s value. New challenges will surely arise in the future, but as technology continues to evolve, it will also find solutions. Keep going—let’s enjoy the pursuit and enjoy life.

Many people say Bitcoin is worthless and has no real value, but I have never believed that. Back when I was in school, I came across some websites that accepted BTC as payment. At the time, many transactions were priced and settled directly in BTC. Later, as the price of BTC rose and issues with transaction costs and efficiency emerged, more and more transactions began moving to other public blockchains. I remember that in the early days of using ERC20 transfers, a single transaction could easily cost 60 or 70 yuan in fees. Later, TRC20 gradually became widespread, and transfer costs dropped significantly. Today, ETH fees have fallen a lot, and its ecosystem and range of applications have grown increasingly rich. But I have always believed that it is not irreplaceable. Public blockchains and ecosystems such as SOL, BNB, TRX, and HYPE could all compete with ETH in different areas. But BTC is different. Over all these years, countless cryptocurrencies have emerged, yet none has truly managed to replace BTC's position. BTC's value lies not only in its technology, but also in its scarcity, decentralization, and the global consensus that has steadily built up over more than a decade. Of course, BTC is not without risks. Quantum computing could bring new security challenges, and problems we cannot foresee today will inevitably arise in the future. But I believe technological progress will not only bring threats; it will also drive the development of solutions. As for when Q Day will arrive and how we will ultimately respond, that is something we need to keep an eye on—and something future technological advances and the ecosystem as a whole will have to address together. We cannot resolve every future uncertainty in advance, nor should we dismiss the value an asset has established today because of risks that have yet to materialize. For me, the most important thing right now is still to focus on what I need to do. Broaden my understanding, hone my skills, increase my income, and keep accumulating core assets that I genuinely understand. There is no need to predict every technological shift or take part in every market battle. I would rather focus my energy on improving myself and generating cash flow, and let time put my judgment to the test. Leave future problems to the future, but make today's choices with the future in mind. Let's strive to become better versions of ourselves and support the future.

Sun is bearish on BTC, yet still holds it as a core position; he’s bullish on ETH, yet has already cut his position by 80%. One’s outlook is one thing; one’s position is another. Perhaps for investors, holding no position is more uncomfortable than missing out. Market uncertainty makes people reluctant to bear the risk of a downturn, yet unwilling to miss the chance of a rally.

I suddenly thought of a really interesting question: If quantum computers really do crack BTC one day, will Satoshi Nakamoto appear? Will #中本聪 appear at the moment of Q-Day?

After watching Sun Yuchen’s interview, I’m even more convinced of my view: the biggest bearish factor for BTC right now is the selling pressure from Satoshi’s and other zombie addresses, totaling 2 million coins. The community needs to address this issue—it may be BTC’s biggest obstacle. If Q-Day arrives, the most important thing is whether BTC can withstand the selling pressure. Will #中本聪 appear before then?

The biggest downside for BTC today, I think, is Satoshi’s reappearance.
Look at the timeline:
In 2008, the white paper was published.
On January 3, 2009, the Bitcoin network was launched and the genesis block was mined.
The last time Satoshi was seen was April 26, 2011.
Assuming Satoshi was 30 years old that year, then after 11 years he would already be 30, which means this year he would be 45.
In an interview, CZ said that the current BTC community includes early technical people—except those who have already left the industry to do other things.
As far as people who have had direct contact and communication with Satoshi, there are still a dozen or so.
How can one person keep disappearing for 15 years and not need to use any of that money?
I think the answer only has two possibilities:
1. He has passed away.
2. He simply doesn’t lack money; assets outside of Crypto are enough for his life, and he’s extremely wealthy. (How wealthy can someone be to just leave so much money untouched and also possess this kind of technology? I think back then there weren’t many people like that.)
In the future, I believe the biggest downside for BTC would be Satoshi’s appearance. If that day comes, whether the market can absorb his BTC will be the most important thing. Of course, if Satoshi appears, it may be another kind of positive news as well.
And there’s another positive factor too: as time goes on, with leadership changes, more countries’ leaders will eventually accept new technology.
No matter what, as time passes the total supply of 21 million remains unchanged. The amount of lost BTC increases over time. CZ mentioned in an interview that about 10% of BTC has already been lost, so CZ’s claim that it could reach 1 million per coin isn’t baseless.
BTC believers never care about the fluctuations of the candlestick chart. They only care about one thing: can I keep buying at a lower price, buying more of that certainty in the future? #BTC
A market crash does not mean the industry is in decline. More often, it clears out excessive leverage, speculators, and participants who lack long-term conviction. I have always believed that Crypto is a trend—and the future. As trade becomes more globalized and cross-border payments and the movement of global assets continue to grow, Crypto and blockchain technology will play an increasingly important role. Of course, not every project or blockchain will go the distance, and not every technology will prove its value. Genuine innovation takes time to mature, and the market needs to continually sort out the winners and eliminate the losers. We need to know how to go with the flow, and, more importantly, understand the limits of our own knowledge. Time will weed out speculation and test conviction.

SOL appeared on the Shanghai big screen, which I believe is not only a brand marketing move, but also a signal that the crypto industry is gradually moving toward mainstream society. The development of blockchain technology will not stop because of short-term controversy and regulation. In the future, stablecoins, RWAs, cross-border payments, and public blockchain infrastructure will gradually integrate into the real economy, and truly valuable technologies will eventually find their place. Of course, the future of blockchain does not mean the success of every public chain, nor does it mean that every token will continue to rise. But I have always believed that the crypto industry’s move toward the mainstream is not a question of whether it will happen, but when it will happen. True trends often begin before most people have reached a consensus.

Excessive frugality is a kind of waste, too. Investing should be grounded in an appreciation of life. The purpose of making money has never been to make the number in your account grow without limit, but to enjoy a better life. We’re willing to delay gratification for the future, but we shouldn’t sacrifice the present indefinitely for its sake. The time, health, energy, and capacity to feel that we have when we’re young are also nonrenewable assets. Some experiences, if missed at the right age, may never feel the same again—even if we have more wealth later on. Wealth needs compounding, and so does life: it needs to be lived. Don’t forget why you set out to build wealth in the first place. You can make money gradually, but life can’t wait until you’re financially free to begin.

It’s hard for one person to change their surroundings through their own efforts alone, but our surroundings can quietly shape who we become. So while you’re young, make sure to go somewhere bigger and become more humble. See more of the world, meet people who are better than you, and learn to understand different cultures, rules, and ways of life. Don’t let a small achievement in a limited environment make you feel too pleased with yourself, and don’t mistake the limits of the people around you for the ceiling of your own potential. Go somewhere bigger—not to make yourself seem more impressive, but to discover how much you still don’t know. Only when you’ve truly seen how vast the world is will you understand how small you are. And recognizing your own smallness is precisely when you truly begin to grow.

Today, crypto, U.S. stocks, and a number of other investments all saw varying degrees of pullback. But I barely felt a thing. I used to stare at the candlesticks, watching my account balance rise and fall, wondering whether I should sell some and buy back in later, trading in and out of the market. These days, I increasingly feel that instead of wasting hours trying to predict the next candlestick, I’d be better off putting down my phone. Going to the gym, heading to the sports field, spending time with family, doing things that genuinely help me grow. There’s something I really like about holding spot assets: Prices change every day, but the number of assets you own doesn’t decrease just because of a red candle. Of course, that assumes you’ve bought assets you truly understand and are willing to hold for the long term—and that you haven’t used leverage that would make the volatility unbearable. So now, when prices fall, I even feel a little excited. Because if nothing fundamental has changed about something I’m bullish on for the long term, a lower price means the same amount of money can buy more of it. What really makes me nervous isn’t the possibility that it keeps falling. It’s that— my regular investment funds haven’t even made it into the pool yet, and the price has already bounced back. I later realized that one sign your investment mindset has changed is probably this: You used to be happy when prices rose and anxious when they fell; now, when prices rise, you know your assets are gaining value; when they fall, you know your future cash flow can buy more assets. And so, little by little, you stop obsessing over guessing where the market will go tomorrow. Because what really matters has never been catching every market swing. It’s consistently owning quality assets, maintaining cash flow, avoiding leverage that could force you out of the game, and then giving the rest of your time back to life. The market handles the swings; I focus on accumulating. As for time, I’ll let it handle the compounding.

For many people, the first half of life is not really about becoming who they are. It is about continually breaking free from the person the outside world has shaped them into. Family sets your boundaries, your surroundings set the standards, society tells you what success looks like, and experience makes you pay tuition again and again. When we’re young, it’s easy to mistake these things for part of who we are. We think the life others expect of us is our dream; we think society’s definition of success is our goal; we think the things we’re afraid to lose are what we truly want. Only after we’ve been through enough, and gained the ability to think for ourselves and live with the consequences, do we slowly begin to tell the difference: what others have placed upon us, and what truly belongs to us. So maturity is never just about getting older or seeing more of the world. True maturity means rebuilding your own values, judgment, and inner sense of order. Knowing what is worth pursuing and what you can let go of; knowing who you are and where you want to go; and knowing what price you’re willing to pay for the life you truly want. A person’s real breakthrough often comes after this. You no longer rush to prove yourself to others, no longer let outside opinions make you doubt yourself again and again, and no longer live by someone else’s answer key. Whether it’s wealth, career, or lifestyle, it all begins to serve the life you truly believe in—not to prove that you’re doing better than other people. From this moment on, life truly begins to change: In the first half, the world keeps shaping you. In the second half, you finally reclaim the right to define your own life. You begin to shape yourself with intention—and to shape a world of your own.

We arrive in this world with nothing, and we leave it with nothing. So we don’t actually need that much stuff. A Michelin-starred meal costing tens of thousands isn’t necessarily 1% more nutritious than a bowl of beef noodle soup. Extra houses, clothes unworn for years, things bought just for the sake of owning them—often they don’t make life any better. Instead, they require us to keep spending time, money, and energy maintaining them. What’s truly costly has never been the things themselves, but the life we spend to own them. Sell what should be sold; throw away what should be thrown away. Rent what you can—there’s no need to buy it. Buy as few mass-produced goods with no real value as possible. And don’t let the things you’re reluctant to part with from your past become a burden that keeps you from moving on to the next chapter of your life. Money is just one form of the resources we have in life. More important than “how much you own” is putting your time, money, and energy into things that can keep growing and compound over time: Growing assets, expanding knowledge, a stronger body, greater abilities, and a life truly worth experiencing. Own less. Grow more.

DCA and long-termism are courses you must take in your life. Fitness is a DCA in health; reading is a DCA in cognition. Continuous learning and refining the skills you use at work are a DCA in the future. Every investment may not show returns immediately, but day by day it will slowly broaden your life. The most important thing about DCA is that it helps you understand the power of time and compounding interest. The road of the future won’t be straighter or smoother than it is now. I won’t trade, and I won’t go trade. I will only be a steadfast long-term holder. Of course, the industry I’m involved in determines my understanding of it. What I need is for it to become the cornerstone of my life—so I’m no longer preoccupied with life’s trivialities and can redirect my attention. It should be enough to support me in doing more things in the future. As for what I truly want… To change the world with technology.

What many people don’t know is that the Bitcoin development community has been steadily moving forward. Bitcoin Core has already been updated to v31.1, and there are many passionate predecessors and developers who continue to update and maintain this community. This is also why I have kept insisting on buying. When BTC faces doubt, my confidence comes from my understanding of the mechanism, my verification of the facts, and from the community members who are still continuously building, continuously moving forward—and who, just like me, have a deep love for it. The market will have ups and downs, and moving forward will bring disagreements, but construction has never stopped. I think I will always stay passionate, remain independent in my thinking, keep learning, and keep participating. Let’s move forward together.

In countless nights when I had no money, I wondered what it would be like to be rich. I thought I’d buy a luxurious watch, and a convertible Ferrari. But later I realized this isn’t wealth—it’s the most foolish decision. True wealth is being able to go to the gym at the best time of each morning, in the best condition. At <wages>, with my MacBook in hand, I watch real-time consultations to get useful information—then follow my own preferences and order lunch. And I make sure my family doesn’t have to worry about money. Then, on every ordinary day, I wake up naturally—without having to go anywhere. And finally, I invite my friends for dinner, and then say, “Let me treat you. This is what wealth means to me.”

Don’t worry—those who come later always get their chance.
