Ethereum recorded the first atomic transaction between its main network (L1) and a layer-two network (L2), aimed at reducing fragmentation.
🔗 What’s changing? Many L1–L2 operations rely on bridges. The new architecture allows actions on both layers to be executed in a single transaction: if one fails, the entire operation is reverted.
🧪 The test moved 0.001 ETH and demonstrated the mechanism on the main network.
🔐 The system uses zero-knowledge proofs (ZK) to verify the state of the L2 instantly.
💧 The goal: to let L2 applications access Ethereum’s liquidity directly, reducing the need for intermediaries.
⚠️ It’s still experimental. Adoption will depend on integrating other L2s, lowering costs, and auditing the code.
💡 The key point: this doesn’t mean Ethereum has eliminated bridges; rather, it opens a new way to connect L1 and L2.
MetaMask reported that it is responding to an incident affecting part of its infrastructure and that it has not detected an immediate threat to users’ wallets.
⚠️ What did it do? As a precautionary measure, it began removing validators from its non-custodial staking operations. MetaMask clarifies that it does not manage withdrawal keys.
🔎 The scale: A researcher estimates that about 17,000 validators, with approximately 523,000 ETH, are being withdrawn. MetaMask did not confirm those figures or explain how the intrusion occurred.
💰 It is estimated that 0.36 ETH in rewards was diverted.
⏳ Lido expects the last affected validators to complete their exit on October 7. The process could take up to 45 days.
💡 The key point: the incident affects staking infrastructure, but there is no public evidence that users’ wallets or their withdrawal keys are compromised.
Nearly $2.386 million in one week in USD flows. Note: these are not profits; they are flows.
The U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs totaled $2.3858 million in net inflows between September 21 and 25, according to Farside. All five trading sessions finished in positive territory.
In plain terms? More money came in than went out from those funds. That’s a sign of demand for that vehicle—not the volume of the entire crypto market, and not a promise that Bitcoin will go up.
And there’s a nuance: on Monday, $999 million was added, and on Friday, $134.5 million. The balance stayed positive, but the daily pace moderated.
Looking only at the candle tells you part of the story. Flows help round out the picture, even if they don’t come with a crystal ball.
Do you follow these data, or do you look more at the price? 🐂
Bitget announced the schedule to restore withdrawals after the September 24 security incident. The vulnerability was identified and patched.
📅 Schedule: • 28/09 – 08:00 UTC: BTC on the Bitcoin network. • 29/09 – 08:00 UTC: ETH on Ethereum, BSC, Arbitrum, Base, and Optimism. • 30/09 – 08:00 UTC: USDT on Ethereum, BSC, Solana, and Tron. • 02/10 – 08:00 UTC: other tokens, fiat, and P2P.
🛡️ Current status: Bitget states that the incident is contained and that no new unauthorized transfers are possible. Users’ balances were not affected, and trading and deposits remain operational.
💰 The company raised its estimate of assets transferred to attackers’ addresses to USD 387.5 million, up from the initial USD 351.6 million. The difference includes Zcash and TRON.
💡 Key point: withdrawals are rolling out in phases while Bitget completes its checks.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen explained that the attack compromised a critical backend system in its wallet infrastructure.
⚠️ What did the attacker do? The system allowed transaction data to be falsified and triggered the authorization process to transfer funds. Bitget clarified that the private keys were not compromised.
🛡️ The incident is contained: Chen said that no new unauthorized transfers are possible. Deposits and trading are still operational.
💰 Who covers the losses? Bitget states that its User Protection Fund, with more than USD 464 million, covers the affected amount of USD 351.6 million.
🔎 The investigation is ongoing to determine how access to the system was obtained.
💡 The key point: the attack likely did not require stealing private keys, but compromising a backend component capable of generating valid transfer instructions.
EUROPE CONNECTED ITS COIN TO #BLOCKCHAIN (THE GOOD AND THE BAD)
💸 The ECB launched Pontes today: a bridge that connects blockchain platforms with "TARGET", the system through which large payments across the entire eurozone flow. ▫️Banks can now settle tokenized assets in euros issued by the ECB itself. ▫️Until today, to buy a tokenized bond you had to pay with stablecoins or private money. ▫️Now the payment could be made with Euros ▫️It begins during banking hours and aims to operate 24/7 by mid-2028. ▫️The ECB announced it will invest part of its own money in digital assets.
📍The financial world is moving toward blockchain technology. 📍The concerns are related to EURO DIGITAL/CBDC (they can freeze your money, limit it, and track it much more easily)
THE WAR IS MOVING THE GEOPOLITICAL BOARD BLOCKCHAIN
THE WAR IS MOVING THE GEOPOLITICAL BOARD BLOCKCHAIN AND THE EU IS PREPARING FOR THE WORST 👀 Saudi Arabia has exited the Chinese payments system that competed with the dollar 💸 SAMA, the Saudi central bank, confirmed that it no longer participates in mBridge: the China-backed blockchain platform so central banks can pay each other without going through the dollar. 🎯 What is mBridge? A shared ledger where each central bank moves its digital currency directly to the other, without the chain of correspondent banks that today charges a fee and takes days.
The US Department of Justice is seeking to seize more than $61 million in USDT that, according to prosecutors, would be linked to the illegal sale of sanctioned Iranian oil.
The funds were frozen by Tether in 2025 and are held in 10 Tron addresses. Authorities allege they were part of a network that moved more than $1.5 billion and that some of the money ended up linked to the Iranian military. The charges still need to be proven in court.
Trezor reported a fraudulent campaign that uses a supposed vulnerability called “STM32 Entropy Vulnerability” to create fear and trick users.
📩 The attackers sent emails that appear to be a critical alert and aim to lead victims to a malicious site. The attack began after a breach of an external email provider used by Trezor.
🔐 The important part: Trezor clarified that its devices, keys, and recovery backups were not exposed.
🛡️ What to do? Do not open suspicious links, never enter the recovery phrase on a website, and verify any alerts directly in Trezor’s official channels.
💡 The key: the current danger is not a hardware flaw, but phishing that tries to exploit fear to obtain users’ keys.
🚨 Rootstock suffers massive withdrawals after fear over Liquid
Rootstock, Bitcoin’s sidechain network, is facing a wave of withdrawals following the recent security incident on the Liquid Network.
📉 What happened? Numerous users tried to withdraw their funds to Bitcoin at the same time. The demand temporarily exhausted the available UTXOs of PowPeg, Rootstock’s bidirectional bridge.
⏳ This created a bottleneck: withdrawals are taking between 36 and 46 hours, about 10 hours longer than usual.
🔎 Developer Sergio Lerner linked the movement to the fear sparked by the Liquid attack, during which around 4,000 BTC were withdrawn.
🛠️ Rootstock’s team is looking to increase liquidity by adding new, smaller deposits to generate UTXOs and restore normal processing times.
💡 The key point: this is not a Rootstock hack. The current issue arises from the concentration of withdrawals and how the PowPeg mechanism works.
🚨 Liquid Network recovers 3,400 BTC after the incident
After the outflow of about 4,000 BTC, 3,400 BTC were returned to Liquid.
🔐 What happened? The attackers identified themselves as “white hats” and asked to protect the funds until the vulnerability was fixed.
🛠️ Blockstream confirmed the patch for the affected nodes. After the confirmation, the funds were returned.
💰 However, about 598.5 BTC, close to USD 47 million, remain in an address linked to the attacker.
⚠️ The vulnerability would be related to Elements, the software used by Liquid, and would have allowed generating L-BTC without backing. The private keys would not have been compromised.
⏸️ Liquid continues working to resume operations.
💡 The key: the 85% return strengthens the hypothesis of a “white hat” attack, although the intent and the destination of the remaining BTC have not yet been confirmed.
U.S. Treasury hits the Iranian regime’s finances The United States Department of the Treasury announced new measures under “Operation Economic Outcast,” targeting a financial structure used by Iran to move money internationally. OFAC (the Office of Foreign Assets Control) designated Turkey-based Golden Global Bank and its subsidiaries, accusing them of facilitating transactions worth tens of millions of dollars linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force. The measure aims to limit Tehran’s access to correspondent banking and make it harder to move funds internationally associated with this structure.
Binance Agent OS + ChatGPT: From AI Conversations to Crypto Actions
Binance Agent OS + ChatGPT I tested Binance Agent OS with ChatGPT through Model Context Protocol (MCP) to explore how AI agents can interact with crypto workflows. From reading the market to executing tasks, the goal is simple 👉🏻 make trading smarter, faster and more automated. Here’s what I learned from the test. #BinanceAgentOS Step by step I will explain how to use Binance Agent OS with ChatGPT Before you Connect Binance Agent OS with your Binance account you need to know what your agent can access and what can access What your agent can access When you connect, you choose which scopes to grant. Start with the least you need: Market data (public, no auth) — tickers, order books, candles, fundingAccount — Agentic sub-account balance, positions, bills; optional read-only view of your main accountTrade — spot, margin, convert, futures (only what you grant and your account is authorized for)Transfer — move funds between wallets inside the same Agentic sub-account only There is no withdrawal scope. Your agent can never move funds out of the sub-account to an external address. Before you start Login your Binance account on your desktop browser
2. And secondly make sure you login ChatGPT on the Web
After login completed on both platform you stay on Chatgpt Web page Step 1 - Enable Developer Mode under Settings ➡️ Security and login as showing on the screenshot
Step 2 - Open Plugins and click the “+” button for add New Plugin as shown on the screenshot
After this step new plugin popup will open Step 3 - Enter your desired name for the plugin and paste the URL below into the plugin URL field and after click the check box click Create as shown on the screenshot URL- https://agent.binance.com/mcp/agentic
Step 4 - Authenticate to authorise the connection as shown on the screenshot Note - Remember here you can customise what are the access you want to permit to your Agent , you can enable or disable the access options here for your agent
Step 5 - Return to ChatGPT and click the Binance MCP server is available in the plugins and Click Try in chat as shown on the screenshot
Congratulations , Now you are Connected with Your Agent and your Binance Account , Now you ready to chat with the Agent To Check Your Binance MCP server working properly or not on the chat enter “what is the BNBUSDT trading at and how its moved over 24 hours?” As shown on screenshot
Now Fund your Agentic sub- account before execute a trade by the agent The sub-account starts empty. Before your agent can trade, you must transfer funds into it yourself from the Binance web UI — this is a manual action; the agent cannot move funds from your main account into the sub-account. Funding an Agentic account works the same way as funding any other sub-account: go to Profile → Dashboard → Sub-account → Asset Management and click Transfer to move assets between your master account and the sub-account instantly, with no fees. Once connected and funded, you interact in plain language. The agent reads live data and asks you to confirm before anything that moves funds or places an order I funded 10 USDT for testing and After fund my agentic account i have asked the agent to check my balance “ How much balance I have in my agentic account?” and the agent show me the balance by default in BTC as shown on the screenshot.
I want to see my balance in USDT so again I entered on chat “ Show the balance in USDT in my agentic account” The agent is really working amazing till here
Although I know Binance is the strict in security and best safest exchange for Binance user in the world , I was feeling afraid that the Agent may be get access of my sensitive information like my contact details, email id , password etc. So for verify this I entered for that agent - “Can you share my account email id, phone number and password” I am really feel safe again with the reply from the agent 😎
Again I have added more fund (5 USDT ) to my agentic account , so I wanted to check my agent can able to check updated balance or not I entered on the chat “ How much balance in my agentic account?” Yes Agent instantly trace the updated Fund balance in agentic account
I have added here how you can manage you Agentic account Manage your Agentic account You can manage your Agentic account directly from Binance.com , without your agent. Go to Profile → Dashboard → Sub-account → Account Management. Here you'll see all your sub-accounts, including your Agentic accounts. Agentic accounts are distinguishable by their sub-account type, shown as Agentic virtual sub. From here you can perform four actions: Transfer — fund or withdraw funds from the sub-account.View permissions — verify your Agentic account permissions. Note: if you wish to update these permissions, you'll need to disconnect your agent and reconnect it to the MCP server.Disconnect agents — select one or more agents to disconnect. You can re-connect your agents to this account later if you wish. You can transfer your funds back via Sub-account Management → Asset Management.Emergency stop — in a single step, disconnect all connected agents and cancel all spot, margin, and futures positions and orders in this Agentic account. You can re-connect your agents to this account again later if you wish. You can transfer your funds back via Sub-account Management → Asset Management. This is my Article on using of Binance Agent OS with ChatGPT , I always welcome your valuable feedback on comment section Thanks @binance and @heyibinance for wonderful the opportunity.
🚨 Willy Woo is seeing a clear signal that Bitcoin has hit the bottom
Willy Woo raised to 80-90% the probability that Bitcoin has marked the low of this cycle, after detecting new signals in his models.
📊 What is he seeing? The risk remains near zero after six months of bearish trend. Liquidity has returned to the network, and capital flows have shifted back into positive territory, showing stronger lows.
🔑 Another signal appears when the price breaks above the cost basis of recent investors and that cost begins to rise. For Woo, this confirms the bottom.
⚠️ But not everything is bullish. Bitcoin may have risen too quickly and could need a cooling-off period. He also notes a possible Wyckoff distribution over 1 hour.
💡 The key: Woo believes the bottom is increasingly confirmed, but there is still risk of a pullback. The conflict between the US and Iran and Fed rates could also affect the market.

When we buy cryptocurrencies, a key decision is figuring out who controls the private keys. That’s where the concept of custody comes in.
🏦 Third-party custody: a company or platform holds the keys and manages access to the funds. It’s simpler, but it means trusting our assets to another entity.
🔑 Self-custody: the user controls their private keys or seed phrase. It offers greater independence, but also full responsibility: if you lose your keys, no one can recover your funds.
🤝 Shared custody or multisig: control is distributed across multiple keys. To move funds, approval from multiple participants is required, adding security.
💡 The key: there is no one ideal model for everyone. Before choosing, it’s worth evaluating security, ease of use, risks, and control.
📌 In cryptocurrencies, understanding who holds the keys is essential: whoever controls the keys controls the funds.
