I had a short position on Ethereum at $3,255 and was holding it. I was facing a significant loss today, so I opened a long trade on Ethereum. However, my position automatically closed. Can someone explain why this happened?
You Can't Open 2 Positions If Hedge Mode Isn't Enabled, That's Way Ur Short Position Was Partially Closed :'(

Try With Small Capital And Tighten Stop Loss, Determine With In-Depth Analysis From Chart Or On-Chain Information, Recommendations On Major Coins Like BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB.

Recently, I have been quite interested in trading futures because some social media has been discussing futures. But when I tried to seek knowledge about futures, it made me hesitant to trade there because the losses could be greater than in spot trading. What makes me most hesitant is not that, but the concepts involved such as leverage or the mechanics like what the costs are, for example, if I take 10x leverage, what the costs would be, and so on. In spot trading, I have certainly applied measures to avoid overtrading, but what if I keep losing in futures and still enter (leading to greater losses).
Should I try this? Maybe the virtual futures provided by Binance? I have tried, but I don’t quite understand yet. Do you have any suggestions for learning about Futures?
