The Payment Was Complete — But It Came From Five Different Accounts I had a P2P sell order for around 20 million VND. The buyer marked it as paid, and when I checked my bank account, the full amount was there. At first, I thought the trade was done. Then I noticed something strange. The payment didn’t come in one transfer. It came in several smaller transactions from different bank accounts. That immediately made me stop. The total amount was correct, but I couldn’t clearly connect every sender to the person in my P2P order. For me, that changed the situation completely. Receiving enough money is not the same as receiving money from the right counterparty. Instead of releasing just because the balance matched, I kept everything inside the Binance chat and used Appeal to ask for support. My biggest takeaway is simple: When a P2P payment becomes more complicated than the order itself, I don’t try to “figure it out” on my own. I’d rather wait for verification than release crypto just because the numbers add up. Has anyone else received one P2P payment from multiple different bank accounts? How did you handle it? #binancep2pantoan @Binance_Vietnam $ZEC $SPCX $MUB

#binancep2pantoan @Binance_Vietnam The Screenshot I Almost Trusted A merchant badge made me relax more than it should have. The seller looked solid: good completion rate, plenty of orders, verified merchant. Then they sent me a payment screenshot before I even asked. For a second, it looked convincing. But I didn’t release. I opened my banking app. Nothing had arrived. The seller pushed me twice to release faster. That was the moment I knew I should slow down, not speed up. About ten minutes later, the money finally landed. Only then did I release the crypto. Since that trade, I’ve kept one rule: A screenshot is not payment. My bank balance is. Badges, ratings, and order history help me choose who to trade with. But none of them replace verification. Sometimes the most dangerous part of a P2P trade isn’t a scam. The Part of DeFi I Underestimated: Maturity I used to care about APY. I barely cared about when the position actually matured. Most of the time, I looked at yield first and duration second. If the number was attractive enough, I assumed the opportunity was good. Looking at TermMax made me think about that differently. With fixed-term lending, maturity is not just a date on the screen. It affects how long my capital is committed, when I can plan to use it again, and whether the position actually fits my strategy. That gave me a simple insight: A good yield is only useful if the timing also works for me. Now, before entering a yield position, I ask myself more than just: “How much can I earn?” I also ask: “When do I get my capital back?” That sounds obvious, but it is something I used to underestimate. TermMax made me realize that in DeFi, time is part of the return too. #termmax @termmax $LAB $BTC

A Merchant Name Is Not Enough for Me Anymore Recently, I started paying more attention to something I used to overlook when trading P2P: merchant feedback. The merchant in this screenshot still has a 99.62% positive rating, but when I opened the negative reviews, I found complaints about things like using non-owner bank accounts, suspicious ads, unusual pricing, and payment-related concerns. That reminded me of one thing: A familiar merchant name — even “Team 1, Team 2, Team 3” — does not automatically mean every account belongs to the same trusted operation. Now I check more than the name: 🟢 Merchant verification badge 🟢 Completion rate 🟢 Total order count 🟢 Recent negative feedback 🟢 Whether the price is unusually far from the market 🟢 Most importantly, whether the payment actually comes from the person shown in the Order For sellers, this last point matters a lot to me. If the money arrives from a different bank account than expected, I don’t release just because the balance is already there. I prefer to pause and use Appeal to clarify the situation through Binance. The screenshot above is exactly why I’ve changed my habit: A 99%+ rating can still contain information worth reading in the remaining 1%. Sometimes the most useful part of a merchant profile is not the score. It’s the complaints underneath it. #binancep2pantoan @Binance_Vietnam $BEAT $SOL
A Merchant Name Is Not Enough for Me Anymore

Recently, I started paying more attention to something I used to overlook when trading P2P: merchant feedback.

The merchant in this screenshot still has a 99.62% positive rating, but when I opened the negative reviews, I found complaints about things like using non-owner bank accounts, suspicious ads, unusual pricing, and payment-related concerns.

That reminded me of one thing:

A familiar merchant name — even “Team 1, Team 2, Team 3” — does not automatically mean every account belongs to the same trusted operation.

Now I check more than the name:

🟢 Merchant verification badge
🟢 Completion rate
🟢 Total order count
🟢 Recent negative feedback
🟢 Whether the price is unusually far from the market
🟢 Most importantly, whether the payment actually comes from the person shown in the Order

For sellers, this last point matters a lot to me.

If the money arrives from a different bank account than expected, I don’t release just because the balance is already there. I prefer to pause and use Appeal to clarify the situation through Binance.

The screenshot above is exactly why I’ve changed my habit:

A 99%+ rating can still contain information worth reading in the remaining 1%.
