$80,000 is Bitcoin’s last line of defense.
Just a few minutes ago, Bitcoin dropped to a low of $80,223, coming very close to breaking below that final line of defense.
$81,000–$81,500 is the clearest support zone across the market. It has held three times in a week, while $85,000 above has repeatedly acted as a ceiling.
Break below $80K → downside opens to $77.5K–$78K → reclaim $85K → structure improves, with $90K in sight.

Last night, I saw that U.S. CPI came in higher than expected. After the news broke, I thought the market would plunge—at least below 80,000. I was waiting to buy the dip, but I didn’t expect it to stop falling at 81,500.
After the news broke last night, Ethereum fell more than 3.2%, the Nasdaq dropped 2%, and the U.S. Dollar Index surged to an 18-month high.

At one point, the market expected the U.S. to raise interest rates three times between now and early next year. As expectations for rate cuts faded, the engine stalled, and all real estate assets were repriced.

After the U.S. CPI data came out last night, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and SOL all slid lower. Bitcoin fell to around 81,500 and stabilized.

I saw that the sell-off was slowing and wanted to try for a small bounce at this level, so I entered with a small position. I went 1.5x long on ETH around 2,430, with a stop loss set at 2,400.

When I got up this morning and saw that it hadn't bounced, I closed the position at a small loss and got out.
The bounce was weak and lacked momentum, with the market generally held down by selling pressure. I'll see how things look before entering again. I'm currently at 25% exposure and hold 100 SOL in spot. #ETH

$BTC Yesterday, Bitcoin plunged sharply, and I thought it would soon fall below 80,000. To my surprise, it still hadn't dropped below 80,000 by evening, and then it quickly rebounded to around 84,000. It seems that around 80,000 is an important equilibrium point in the tug-of-war between bulls and bears. For now, my main priority is to play it safe and wait for the right opportunity to get back in. Once I buy, I need to make a profit, not take a loss.
