⚡ The upgrade targets transaction finality of around 100–150 milliseconds, compared with roughly 12.8 seconds under the current system.
The upgrade is NOT live on Solana mainnet yet. Developers and validators are still testing it before any mainnet activation.
If successful, faster finality could be significant for payments, exchanges, DeFi and other applications that need near-instant settlement.
