$BNC : extreme short funding (-0.47%) after a -5% drop. I read this bounce as noise inside the downtrend.
Why I'm bearish: - 1H and daily structure both show lower highs / lower lows - Open interest is fading (-6.3% in 24h) and rebound volume is thin (0.27x), so the bid looks weak - Negative funding can fuel a squeeze, but here it sits with the bearish structure, which often marks a tired bounce, not a trend flip
My plan (not a signal): - Short zone: 4.89–4.99, only after a sweep of 4.754 or a clear 1H rejection (bearish engulfing / pin bar) - Targets: 4.714 → 4.529 → 4.512 - Invalidation: a close above 5.084 flips me bullish
Caution: BTC is bullish, so this is a counter-BTC trade and needs extra confirmation.
Do you see this bounce fading, or is a squeeze coming first? 👇
BTC reclaims $80K: here's how I'm reading it
Bitcoin swept the lows near $75.7K around the election
BTC reclaims $80K: here's how I'm reading it Bitcoin swept the lows near $75.7K around the election headlines, then reversed hard and reclaimed $80K. ETH outperformed with a +6.6% move to a two-week high above $2,400. Fear & Greed jumped from 34 to 50 in a day, which tells you how fast sentiment flipped. What drove the move About $950M in liquidations hit the market in 24 hours, roughly $560M of it shorts. Futures volume rose around 27% while open interest rose only about 3%. So this was mostly shorts getting squeezed and leverage being reset, not a wave of new borrowing. Falling oil and lower Treasury yields gave it macro support. What bothers me Spot ETF flows haven't confirmed it. There were about $116M in net outflows on Nov 3, the third straight day. A rally driven by short covering, without ETF inflows behind it, tends to stall once the shorts are gone. $BITCOIN is also still about 5% below where it traded a month ago, near $84.7K. Levels Resistance: $82K. A clean daily close above it, ideally with ETF inflows, opens the way to the mid-$80Ks. Support: $78K, then $76K. The 100-day EMA is near $77.7K and the 200-day near $76.4K, so $76K–$78K is a stacked zone. Invalidation: a daily close below $76K puts $73K and $70K back in play. Plan, not prediction I wouldn't chase a +4% day straight into resistance. The better entries are usually on a retest of $78K–$80K that holds, or on a confirmed breakout above $82K. Either way, define the stop before the entry, size so one loss is a small fraction of the account, and don't add to a position just because it's green. Notice what I'm waiting for: ETF flows turning positive, and price holding above $80K without a fresh wave of liquidations. If those show up, the rally has real buyers. If not, I treat this as a bounce inside a range. Educational content, not financial advice. Crypto is highly volatile and you can lose your entire investmen
Market volatility is part of crypto, but repeated long wicks and sudden liquidations raise legitimate concerns among traders. Exchanges must maintain transparency, fair execution, and accountability. Trust is built through actions, not promises. 🔍
