I woke up and everything had been triggered. The hardest part of trading is still managing your positions. I understand this, but it's so hard to put what I know into practice.
🙏🙏🙏Both of these trades came close to hitting their stop-loss levels, so this is quite an October surprise. There’s resistance around 1450 on the daily chart. I hope it can break above 1400 this week.
The 4-hour chart has already broken out. Next, if Bitcoin can hold above 83,130, ZEC may be able to hold above 1,300. Hopefully it rises a little more, and I’ll have spending money for the next two months.
The third quarter was pretty good. From the painful lessons of getting liquidated multiple times, I’d say try to avoid trading futures. And if you do, stay away from altcoins and make sure to manage your position size. Most liquidations come from poor position management and holding losing trades. The last time I got liquidated, ETH had dropped by over 1,000 points hahaha. Don’t hold on to losing trades, don’t take oversized positions, and don’t go all in. Best of luck to you—let’s keep encouraging each other.
This trade actually wasn’t entered very well. I set a stop-loss too, but when I opened the trade, I already felt like it was about to get triggered. It feels like the whole market is being propped up by Bitcoin on the daily chart. I’m ready to close my position at any moment. What do you guys think?
I just finished getting my teeth cleaned. Health is the foundation of everything, and it’s so important. Dental health 🦷 matters too, guys—be sure to get your teeth cleaned and checked regularly. When your teeth are healthy, everything tastes great!
The logic behind this trade was pretty simple: I thought BTC would find support at 80K, so I blindly set a stop-loss and opened a position. Not long after I entered, though, the price dropped below 80K. It gave me a scare—I thought my stop-loss was about to get triggered. But then, out of nowhere, the price reversed. What do you guys think—was my logic for entering the trade sound?
Now we’ll see whether it can break through the daily support at 1207. After reflecting on it, I realized how stupid I was. I’m not some 10U trading god, and I don’t need to gamble. Why didn’t I just trade spot? Why couldn’t I wait patiently for a better opportunity? It’s been 10 years on this journey. If I hadn’t used leverage of 3x or more, I wouldn’t have been liquidated three times. Brothers, make sure you manage your position sizes. If all else fails, trade spot. I may appear to be in profit right now, but if I don’t manage my position sizes next time, I’ll still end up getting liquidated.
The long position was closed for profit, and with a sense of fear, I opened a short position. I still want to find a price to reopen a long position for a long-term hold. Let's look forward to the market trend.
I flipped through the comments section and was shocked. Blaming the government for one's own failures and blaming the country for one's own incompetence; in this era, those who are sycophantic towards the West are not bad, they are foolish. Go Google it, the so-called developed Western countries like the United States lose many people to starvation, freezing, and disappearance each year.
Previously, it repeatedly tested the bottom around 1900 without truly breaking down, but instead slowly formed a structure of raising the low.
So this time I didn't make hasty short-term moves, but chose to hold a trend long position.
The market has been fluctuating, washing out, and spiking high then pulling back these days, but in my eyes, as long as the key structure hasn't broken, these are more like:
A turnover on the way up, not the end of the trend.
Many people aren't wrong about the direction, but rather:
They see it correctly, yet can't hold on.
They panic at the first pullback, chase on the first rise, and in the end, what they lose to is not the market, it's their own emotions.
My attitude is very simple: as long as the structure hasn't broken, keep holding.
