What is it, I don’t understand
Hey guys, since Trump’s team took action yesterday, today I’m posting another piece to enlighten you about insider trading.
This game has never been rare,
it generally involves people in the know (insiders),
like those working in major organizations that influence the market (Wall Street CEOs, insiders from the FED/SEC, financial industry lawyers…),
they will know sensitive information in advance, then quietly place orders early to profit.
Normally, this game is illegal and carries heavy penalties.
If caught using an account linked to you to place orders before information => you face serious consequences.
But that’s in traditional finance.
In crypto, it’s different.
Everything is simpler. Faster. Harder to detect.
No one really controls this game here.
Insiders just need to create a non-custodial wallet, use mixers, swap on-chain, OTC, clone CEX, withdraw funds in various ways…
=> no trace.
Adding to the fact that this market reacts extremely quickly, easily FOMO-prone, and easily panicked
=> so as soon as the news drops, liquidity can be shattered immediately.
That’s why we all know for sure that yesterday Trump’s team made huge profits (probably around a million dollars), but no one could do anything.
In fact, this game is even starting to be legalized now. On a market called Polymarket, operating on the Polygon blockchain.
The goal sounds civilized: “Leverage the crowd’s intelligence to predict world events,” the technical term is "prediction market".
But in reality, this is largely a playground for insider trading.
Why?
Because insiders now only need to know the news in advance => then throw it onto this market to bet and make money.

- Up to now, if asked which coin disappoints the most, I think the likelihood is high that it will be #eth. For many reasons, the most important being its poor profitability, which has led to the entire #erc20 ecosystem, including layer2, being in a slump.
- Look at #arb with an ecosystem that is no less than layer1s like #sol #sui #avax. Look at #op, a huge technology that many collaborators are involved in, especially #base, which has an incredibly strong ecosystem in the recent phase; the trend racing and dapp activities on base are so lively that it's extremely surprising (check it out, folks).
- There are still many great technologies built on erc20 that have extremely poor profitability. This makes investors weep like #ldo #eigen #zk #strk #scr #alt ... since the time of the airdrop, pushing for 1 wave then dividing 5 will be 10 times.
So being disappointed with ETH is quite normal.
- But importantly, according to history, ETH always runs after 1 year of having. And I also believe that this will repeat; I hope it does. Trust in what we do, but remember not to bet your entire life on it; opportunities are always there, so be calm and embrace them.
- No new peaks for ETH means no altcoin season. Without liquidity in altcoin season, what do you think will happen, folks, just imagine...

🔥 The other day I was bullish early, the ETH view was too smooth, who knew it would hit every price point without missing any.
