Justin SunLOGRA UN FALLO CLAVE EN LA DISPUTA CONTRA WORLD LIBERTY FINANCIAL
Justin Sun claims to have obtained an important decision in his legal battle against World Liberty Financial.
According to Sun, a federal judge in California rejected World Liberty Financial’s attempt to move all claims to private arbitration and keep certain documents out of public scrutiny.
The court reportedly determined that the claims filed by Sun in his individual capacity will remain in an open court proceeding.
It also reportedly rejected World Liberty Financial’s position that all claims related to the company must be resolved through arbitration. Now, the parties will have to determine which matters belong in court and which must continue through arbitration.
Sun says he invested $45 million in World Liberty Financial in exchange for $WLFI tokens and is currently seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in damages.
His lawsuit alleges that the company secretly kept powers to freeze, restrict, or burn tokens belonging to its holders and later used those powers over his holdings.
The dispute also includes questions related to USD1, World Liberty Financial’s lending activities, and the company’s ability to respond financially in the event of a ruling.
