A volume surge may also be caused by widespread liquidations. Liquidation orders are executed involuntarily, so this kind of volume surge means something different from voluntary buying and selling. You need to compare it with liquidation data.
All data only describes past price movements. Prices can absolutely move in the opposite direction.

Every on-chain transaction has a unique transaction hash (TxID). An Ethereum transaction hash starts with 0x followed by 64 hexadecimal characters.
Deposits to exchanges are generally credited only after they reach the required number of confirmations. The number of confirmations required varies by cryptocurrency.
When managing your position, the most important thing to remember is this: if someone says they’ve transferred funds, ask them for the transaction hash and verify it yourself on a block explorer.
