Follow the major trend and go against the minor trend. Short ETH, stop-loss at 2540, and start trailing the take-profit around 2506.

Even with take-profit and stop-loss levels set according to your risk-reward ratio, you still have to stick to the plan. Today, the short at $KORU and the long at $ETH both made less profit because I didn’t take profits as planned. That lowered the risk-reward ratio for each trade. More importantly, impulsive trades weakened my discipline and risk management, and my mindset is getting in the way of refining the system.

$LIT Review of a Trade Stopped Out After Going from +600u to -647u:
The main mistake was not closing in time to take profit or moving the stop loss to breakeven. In the end, the moving averages turned and formed a death cross, and the trade hit the preset stop loss.
1. ❌ Didn’t calculate the risk/reward ratio before entering: potential profit < potential drawdown risk, but entered anyway

2. ❌ Chased the price after it had moved far from the moving averages and printed several consecutive bullish candles

3. ❌ A long upper wick at the high signaled exhaustion, but didn’t proactively reduce the position or move the stop loss to breakeven

4. ✅ The only thing done well: after a trend reversal signal appeared, didn’t hold onto the losing trade and decisively exited at a loss.

Closed out the previous ETH trade and bought a little $LIT —switching from weak to strong, still on the 15m chart.

Today’s daytime market trend is mainly driven by news momentum continuing last week’s uptrend. The U.S.-Iran returning to the negotiating table and expectations of a meeting between the U.S. and China’s leaders have been positive factors.
