I went to #台灣未來祭 last weekend. If you count TBW as well, this is my fourth time attending. From the beginning where I had to buy my own ticket to enter, to this year becoming one of the creators, that identity shift is still quite amazing. Thank you, Josephine, for remembering me.
This year, not only did the expo move to a new venue, the theme also became more diverse. And the lineup of speakers invited by the organizers, as well as the stage themes they planned, were truly excellent. So even though I didn’t have any badminton matches on the second and third days, I still went early to check in at the main hall—just in case.
This year was really fun to explore. All the stage areas and booths are in the same building, so if there are any important talks or activities I want to attend, I can get there quickly. I spend a lot of time at the badminton courts, but whenever I have time, I still end up wandering around.
Time really flies—it went by so fast. The talks and workshops had so much rich content. For example, the fireside chat with Zhou Zhou and Ni Da—through that, I got to hear their discussion about the crypto market and AI. That was one of the few talks I was able to listen to on my first day.
I also attended a few workshops, and I hope they’ll come in handy in the future. There was also a special little twist: during one session, the teacher told me she actually remembered me! I mean, I only attended a small offline gathering last time, and at that time I didn’t interact with the teacher at all. Her memory is really impressive.
It’s clear this year the conference places a lot of emphasis on sports and entertainment. There wasn’t only badminton and gyro competition on-site—there were also basketball machine and boxing machine activities. Next to the stage, there were fitness running and ice bath experiences as well. Not far outside the main hall, there were even pickleball activities.
Unfortunately, for some of the booths with extremely long lines, I never got to participate until the very end. A few talk sessions had scheduling conflicts, or I simply forgot, so I ended up only participating about half of the events—or even missing the entire session. I heard some of the surrounding activities outside the venue were also great, but I didn’t have the chance to join.
Still, I’m really grateful for all the people and things I encountered those days. Besides catching up with old friends, I also met new ones. I gained some unexpected takeaways and memories too. Even if some people are only in your life for a season, that’s totally okay.
In the AI era, things change fast, and there’s so much more to learn and do. No matter what theme and activities the next Taiwan Future Festival has, I hope everyone can gather again next year in an even better way.

Grey Grey recently had the good fortune to become one of the creators for the 2026 “FUTUREMODE Taiwan Future Festival,” and they also received a few extra tickets.
So over the next few days, there will be a small event on Twitter. Just a few taps— and you have a chance to win FUTUREMODE tickets! (Value: $119 USD)
The “FUTUREMODE Taiwan Future Festival” used to be the Taipei Blockchain Week, but the theme of the new expo will expand from Web3 and blockchain to today’s most popular AI and emerging future technologies. Over these three days, more than 100 speakers from both within and outside the country will gather—founders, engineers, investors, and creators from different fields— to explore industry trends, the latest topics, and the opportunities hidden within them.
Exhibition time and location: 9/4~9/6 at the Taipei Expo Park (Zhengyan Hall).
Looking forward to seeing everyone next month at #台北 ~
This year, I unexpectedly got into a sport: #羽毛球 .
Looking back a few days before New Year’s Eve in 2026, Zhou Zhou ( @周周周周周周ㄓㄡㄓㄡ ) posted an IG story saying they needed more people for a badminton group session. At first, I didn’t really pay attention—mostly because I hadn’t exercised in a long time, and I wasn’t even playing badminton. The most I’d done was messing around during PE class back in school. But for some reason, I don’t know what I was thinking—I actually replied to that story?!
Hui: Is it okay for a beginner? Haha Zhou: Yes! It’s very friendly Hui: But I don’t have a racket… Zhou: I do—I’ll sign you up!! Remember to wear sports shoes~ Hui: Haha okay Zhou: See you then!
When I saw “beginner-friendly,” I felt pretty relieved. I thought I’d just have a casual, fun hit. I didn’t expect that after the first match, which went to 21 points, I was done for… dizzy, out of breath, and my whole body was sore. That completely describes me at the time, hahaha.
It’s already the eighth month since I started playing at the beginning of the year. Even though I still often make mistakes and fall behind (in Taiwanese, “luo qi”), and my skills still have a lot of room to improve, I’d say I can at least play back and forth with others now.
But what’s even more exciting lately is that at the beginning of next month, I’m actually going to compete! Because Taiwan Future Festival will hold a professional badminton competition inside the expo venue (location: Taipei Yuanshan Expo Hall, Ronghua Pavilion). And I signed up for the KOL Exchange Match on Day 1, 9/4—“Where You Are, With You”—so I’ll be one of the participants!
Thanks to Futuremode and DeepCoin for putting on such a great event, giving Hui Hui the chance to face badminton players of all kinds on the court. Lately, everyone has been working hard to train for this match—wishing everyone has an amazing day and is in great shape, so you can enjoy the competition to the fullest~

Last month someone found out that I still haven’t been to Japan. This month they just grabbed me and dragged me there (haha~
Honestly, my impression of traveling to Japan has always been great. I’d often think that one day I should definitely go and have a trip there. Then one day—suddenly I’m in my thirties and I still haven’t been?!
Yeah, why is it that Japan is so close yet I still haven’t gone? I can think of a lot of possibilities: language, money, personality, motivation, work... and other factors. Plus I’m not really a travel person, and I’m definitely not into solo travel, so I guess I just never managed to make it happen.
Then last month, by chance, I was chatting with a friend about how I’d never been to Japan. I just casually asked, “So, are you going in July?” There’s also this awesome event, WebX, which I can participate in. At the moment, I thought, July’s fine anyway, so I agreed. But secretly I was thinking—why does talking about this feel as simple as when we make plans to go play ball? Haha
Everything was set pretty soon—tickets and hotel. I was hoping for a smooth trip. But as the day got closer, a fierce typhoon was headed straight for Taiwan. Seeing the typhoon’s path left me desperate—the original flight was forced to be canceled. So I had to passively unlock a new achievement: pay extra to grab new tickets, and take off before the typhoon arrived so the trip wouldn’t get completely ruined.
Shibuya business district, Shinjuku business district, Ginza business district, Hachifusanoen, Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Yokohama Outlet, flavorful ramen, hand-pressed matcha, wagyu shabu-shabu, dark alley chicken paitan, affordable sashimi, loyal dog Hachiko, Pikachu. Every day I walked so much that I was exhausted, yet it felt like I was constantly recharging.
Thanks to my good friend for the invitation, care, and hosting ~ You went out of your way to take me to so many places, take so many photos, eat so many great meals, and buy so many clothes (and honestly, that’s the real point?! Haha). I used to think, Japan is so close... it’s not a big deal to go when I’m older. But now it feels really great to go sooner!
PS: This time, for the @BNB Chain Side Event—the sponsor booths next to it—on one side Unitas was giving away golden small keychain charms (I got one too XD). On the other side, Renaiss was playing games where you could win Pokémon card packs. I was so lucky—I managed to pull a PSA-certified Pikachu card ~ Thanks to @Renaiss Collectibles . There are even Pokémon cards I can catch in Japan, hahaha
Last night’s championship showdown was absolutely amazing! The two teams battled back and forth endlessly into extra time, until Spain scored that crucial goal—truly a one-hit knockout!
Once again, thank you 幣安 for the invitation, giving me the chance to experience this heart-racing moment together with a few big shots from the crypto world and the fans in the stadium~ #2026足球风潮
Did anyone else stay up late to watch the match with me last night? Which team were you rooting for back then? Feel free to share in the comments! 👇

This time, the gift box includes: a jacket, a backpack, a scarf, and the mascot BIBI’s small hanging charm—each one is so exquisite! But I think the biggest highlight is the word “HODL” written on the packaging box. That has to be hinting that we should hold steady now. Bears got bottomed out—aren’t we about to take off soon? BTC, BNB!
This is the fourth year since I met Binance, and I’m still able to keep receiving Binance’s care. Thank you, Binance—let’s keep moving forward in the future~

Big shoutout to 幣安 for the Dragon Boat Festival gift box! They hooked me up with a tennis combo that's super sleek and awesome! I thought the racket would be heavy, but it's actually lighter than I expected. Definitely gotta hit some serves when I get the chance!~
Abu Dhabi's sovereign fund MGX has invested $2 billion in Binance, marking the first time Binance has accepted institutional investment, and it’s also one of the largest single institutional investments in crypto history!
Compared to Europe and America, the Middle East has always been a more favorable environment for crypto. With the UAE government backing MGX, this brings regulatory stability and a conducive development environment to Binance, which is no longer facing turbulent times. The future of the crypto market may see a flood of institutional capital coming in~

Some clarifications and reflections on Labs
1. The relationship between Labs and Binance 1. Binance labs has been renamed as Yzi labs and operates independently. Ella Zhang is the person in charge and CZ directly manages Labs. Currently, there are thousands of projects invested in, and only a very small percentage of the projects are listed on Binance. From the first day of the establishment of Labs, these are two completely independent teams, making independent decisions. 2. The coins listed on Binance are isolated by layers of firewalls, but one thing that is undeniable is that if Binance is willing to give a certain amount of coins as airdrops to users, it will serve as a reference indicator. 3. Labs staff and public investment project information, as well as the names of other investors in the market. Investment information is basically public information in the market. If there is a record of bribery, we welcome evidence and public supervision. If any Binance or Binance-related employee asks for money, shares, or tokens from any project or partner, we will definitely send them to jail and ruin their reputation.
1. Register on Binance through the exclusive link and complete identity verification to receive 1 THE reward! 2. Complete > 100 USDT spot trading (limited to THE trading pair), then claim 2 THE. 3. Hit a contract trading volume > 500 USDT, and snag 4 THE. 4. Achieve a contract trading volume > 55,500 USDT, and earn 6 THE. 5. Finish a contract trading volume > 555,500 USDT, and get 12 THE.
❖ Important Note 1: The event kicks off tomorrow morning at 8 AM (2024-12-06-08:00), so make sure to register AFTER 8 AM tomorrow. Remember to use the referral link or input invite code BNSQUARE to qualify for the event.
❖ Important Note 2: Limited to 666 participants per day. If you feel like it's too late to register that day, come back and try again the next day!
