Hyperliquid maintains dominance among perpetual DEXs
Hyperliquid generated $218 billion in trading volume in July, while the other exchanges together generated about $189 billion.
The combined volume of the eight largest perpetual DEXs fell by $85 billion (or 17%) compared to the previous month.
The decline affected the market as a whole, but did not change its structure: liquidity remains strongly concentrated on Hyperliquid, while its closest competitors continue to form a distinct second tier.

🥇 Gold swings strongly and ends slightly lower, keeping an eye on US-Iran talks
In a highly volatile session, gold ended slightly lower despite relief in oil’s outlook on short-term inflation—which reduces expectations for higher interest rates for a long period. Earlier, the precious metal rose on optimism over a possible US-Iran deal, which has pulled oil back by around 5% this Monday. Over the weekend, Trump suspended a new attack on Iran, seeking an agreement that would halt Tehran’s nuclear ambitions and reopen the Strait of Hormuz. On the Iranian side, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Baghaei, said that discussions between the country and Oman are only about a "temporary" route to ensure the safety of vessels in Hormuz. "We are not negotiating with the United States at this time," he said. According to him, the country has no plans to receive foreign delegations or send negotiators abroad in the coming days. At the close, the August gold contract fell 0.38%, quoted at $4,033.70 per troy ounce on the Comex. *(BDM Online)*
