A few days ago, a friend asked me about his statement: “We both trade spot on Binance—why are your fees always cheaper than mine for every trade?” I told him I didn’t have any special privileges. When I registered, I just entered an invitation code. After that, 20% of the trading fees would automatically be rebated to me. That’s when he realized what “commission rebates” are, and he’d been overpaying “full-price” fees for half a year. Today I’m going to explain it once and for all—whether you haven’t registered yet, forgot to enter the code when you signed up, or your account has been sitting unused for a long time, there are ways to fix it.
What exactly is commission rebating?
In short: if you register for Binance using an invitation code, then after that, when you pay trading fees, Binance will automatically refund a portion back to your account. If you enter the invitation code WIN98, both spot and futures get a 20% rebate—this is the highest tier the system allows, effectively making your fee rate stay at an 80% discount year-round.

Recently, several friends have been asking how to register on Binance. One got stuck downloading the app, and another heard that Binance can buy U.S. stocks and wants to open an account. Instead of explaining it one by one over voice calls, it’s better to write out the full process so you can just follow along. The whole thing takes about 5–10 minutes.
Pre-registration preparation

✅ ID card (to be used for later identity verification; Mainland China ID cards are accepted)

Open the Binance official website https://www.binance.com/zh-CN/join?ref=WIN98, click “Register” at the top-right corner. You can use either email or a phone number—I personally used email.
