Today, October 8, 2026, $BTC has dropped to $82,823. Yesterday it was $83,882; today it's down 1.07%!
My analysis, from Crypto Teacher PK:
Support Zone: $82,000 - $83,000 (This is being tested right now)
Next Support: $80,000 if this level breaks
Resistance: $84,500 - $85,000
There has been a $487M outflow from ETFs, which is why the market is down. But 63% of BTC has been held for a year — big holders aren't selling!
My plan: I won't panic-sell. I'll wait for $80k to DCA.

The IMF calls digital markets “small,” but this part in particular is what I find most interesting.
The IMF puts off-chain (repo) exclusions and stablecoins at around $65 billion as of July, while activity in tokenized repo is around $300–350 billion in daily volume. This is real financial activity, but it remains small compared with traditional markets.
The bigger issue for me is not how fast tokenization is growing.
Rather, whether the infrastructure can handle it when the market comes under stress.
Right now, there are still several major gaps:
• Liquidity is thinner (less depth)
• Markets remain fragmented
• Legal certainty is still evolving
• Interoperability is still a problem
