What Is White Label Staking?Staking refers to the process of locking up crypto assets to earn a return on your principal and help secure the blockchain. The blockchains that support the staking process run on the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. In Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchains, as more coins are added to the circulation, the staked assets grow the holdings of the validator simultaneously. As shown by the diagram below, staking itself can be primarily segmented into two forms, namely white label staking and public delegation or staking pools. White label staking is considered a more premium way of staking tokens. With white-label staking, the token and crypto holders get their validator node explicitly created for them. This is then managed entirely on their behalf by a third-party operator. This can be extremely helpful, especially for technology companies who are not familiar with the processes and best practices for the setup, maintenance and operation of validator nodes. The ownership of the nodes and assets still remains with the crypto and token holders, which is beneficial and important for both institutional and retail investors. While it can be a great way to earn rewards on blue-chip crypto, such as Ether, for validators staking the assets, there are also risks and penalties to bear in mind for improper operation and malicious behaviour.  Mechanisms such as slashing can penalize validators for a percentage of their staked amount. As staking continues to raise institutional and retail interest, it is thus critical to partner with active validators on the network that possess the right infrastructure for staking needs.  With a minimum of 32ETH or Ether required, and a penalty of above 0.5ETH to the entire stake for every instance of “improper” operation as a validator, proper setup and operation are thus essential to preserving the value of the staked assets. Additional potential benefits of white label staking include the offering of a fully customizable, branded offering for white label validators. While rewards are generated on the customer’s behalf, the fees charged at a protocol level can be fixed. If the white label staking provider has high-security standards and robust infrastructure where high-quality nodes are used, the maximum amount of rewards can be earned. This is because the flow of funds across PoS blockchains relies on high-quality validator nodes. Lastly, the white label staking provider can also tailor the node to the customer’s specific needs while being maintained with 100% slashing insurance, constant uptime and 24/7 engineering support. The only downside for white label staking would be the high minimum staking requirements, such as the minimum of 32ETH as mentioned above. This is more of an obstacle for smaller retail investors, however, as many institutional investors and individuals choose the white label option because they have access to a large pool of capital. This capital allows them to earn staking rewards on their own, without needing to delegate to a third party.  However, the effectiveness of white label staking varies across blockchains. While 32 ETH and gas fees are required to run a validator node, other chains, such as Cardano and Solana, require a large amount of stake for white label to be more attractive than simply delegating to a public node.  On the other hand, public delegation is when a token or crypto holder delegates their PoS tokens to an existing public validator.   This tends to be more beneficial for token holders who don’t have as much capital to meet the minimum requirements to set up their own validator nodes. The lower overheads thus make it a more attractive option for such token holders, as this is a simpler ‘off-the-shelf’ solution for generating staking rewards with minimal requirements for getting started. As token holders can also delegate and earn rewards as soon as possible, allowing them to get started staking rapidly, the speed to market is also much faster than white label staking. However, the quality and reliability of the public validator nodes are still essential factors, as they affect the consistency and amount of rewards.  While the validators do earn staking rewards for the token stakers, they have no ability to customize the validator to their specific requirements. All staking nodes are branded under the validator node provider, rather than the individual stakers. Another similar option would be staking pools, which allow multiple crypto token holders to pool in their tokens, thereby granting the staking pool operator a validator status and rewarding all stakeholders with tokens for their combined contributions. Staking pools allow token stakers to earn rewards in proportion to their holdings and share of the pool, even if the quantity staked is a fraction of what is needed to achieve validator status on the blockchain. While the lower minimum overheads make this an attractive option, especially for retail investors, the staking pool should be chosen cautiously, as the staked tokens act as a guarantee for the blockchain. It is thus important that the pool operator, which is acting as a validator on the blockchain, performs their role properly and without malicious intent. If the validator facilitates invalid or fraudulent transactions, slashing will still occur, which results in the penalty and loss of the staked token. Additionally, once the token holder joins a staking pool, their crypto tokens are locked in a specific blockchain address or with a third party, which may result in stakeholders having to sacrifice control or custodial ownership over their staked tokens.  A staking pool will also give smaller rewards than if the tokens were directly staked with the blockchain since every staking reward is split among the participants of the staking pool. After deducting platform fees and commission rates, the final payout reduces further.  It is critical to research and evaluates which methods of staking are most suitable for each token holder, as they all have respective pros and cons.

10 Reasons Why Blockchain Is The FutureBlockchain technology has the potential to revolutionize a wide range of industries and change the way we think about data security, transactions, and trust. Here are ten reasons why blockchain is the future: Decentralization: One of the key features of blockchain technology is that it is decentralized, meaning it is not controlled by any single entity. This makes it more resistant to censorship and tampering, as it relies on a network of computers to validate and record transactions. Increased security: Blockchain technology uses cryptography to secure its transactions, making it nearly impossible for hackers to alter or delete data. Additionally, because it is decentralized, it is less vulnerable to attacks on a single point of failure. Efficiency: Traditional financial and legal systems can be slow and cumbersome, with multiple intermediaries involved in each transaction. Blockchain technology streamlines these processes, making them faster and more efficient. Transparency: Blockchain technology allows for complete transparency, as all transactions are recorded on a publicly available ledger. This can help build trust and accountability in industries that may have previously been opaque. Reduced costs: By eliminating intermediaries and streamlining processes, blockchain technology has the potential to significantly reduce costs for businesses and consumers. Smart contracts: Blockchain technology can facilitate the creation of smart contracts, which are self-executing contracts with the terms of the agreement between buyer and seller being directly written into lines of code. This can help to reduce the risk of fraud and ensure that contracts are carried out as intended. Identity verification: Blockchain technology can be used to create secure and reliable systems for identity verification, which could have applications in areas such as voting and immigration. Supply chain management: Blockchain technology can be used to track the movement of goods through a supply chain, helping to increase transparency and reduce the risk of fraud. Improved data management: Blockchain technology can be used to securely store and manage large amounts of data, including personal data and medical records. This could help to protect privacy and reduce the risk of data breaches. Increased adoption: As more and more businesses and organizations begin to see the potential of blockchain technology, it is likely that we will see increased adoption across a wide range of industries. This could lead to the creation of new products and services, as well as the development of new business models. Overall, the potential applications of blockchain technology are vast and varied, and it has the potential to fundamentally change the way we interact with each other and with the world around us. How Does 0x Protocol Work?On the Ethereum blockchain, the 0x team has created a standard protocol that allows for the exchange of tokens and the construction of new decentralized apps (dApps). Because they keep an off-chain order book and can charge transactions fee (or other fees) for their services, these new initiatives built on top of the 0x protocol are known as relayers. Augur, Status, district0x, Dharma, Blocknet, Request Network, and a slew of other projects have already opted to build atop 0x. The 0x protocol, being a decentralized exchange, is free of the drawbacks that come with centralized exchanges. While centralized exchanges offer the ease of use, high-performance trading, and advanced tools, they also have a number of drawbacks, such as security failures (the middleman can be hacked, shut down, or run away with customers' funds), downtime (due to hikes or high traffic spikes), and various fees. Decentralized exchanges, in this sense, eliminate the requirement for trust by allowing anyone to trade on the Ethereum blockchain without having to deposit money via a central entity. Untrustworthy situations have their own set of difficulties and drawbacks. Decentralized exchanges have certain drawbacks, including the fact that every new transaction or alteration must be validated on the blockchain, which may be costly and time-consuming. By integrating off-chain ordering relays with on-chain settlements, the 0x protocol tries to address these inefficiencies. This implies that users can push an order off the blockchain to be filled by another user, and only value orders are processed on-chain, saving users money on gas fees. It's just a more secure, less expensive, and faster way for consumers to exchange ERC20 tokens. What Is the 0x Protocol?Built on the Ethereum blockchain, 0x is an open-source protocol that allows for the frictionless peer-to-peer exchange of cryptocurrencies. The team sees a future in which the Ethereum network will be used to tokenize all forms of assets. For example, instead of going through a lengthy procedure involving attorneys and escrow agents when selling a home, the 0x protocol provides a comprehensive solution that can be used to tokenize the property and transfer ownership to the buyer via a smart contract. This eliminates the need for any costly intermediaries while also speeding up the whole process, thereby turning real estate into a liquid asset. With the 0x Launch Kit, anybody can create their own decentralized exchange (DEX) on top of 0x and collect fees for their services. The 0x protocol is a standard message format for exchanges, comparable to SWIFT, which is the standard messaging system used by banks all over the globe to communicate about fiat currency transfers. The 0x API (application programming interface) was also released, which combines liquidity throughout the network and allows customers to exchange assets at higher prices – at all times.

Integrate NFTs into existing products.Instead of taking on the challenge of creating an entirely new product range, brands can use NFTs as an extension of their existing productions. This phenomenon is starting to be witnessed in the sports and entertainment industries, where companies are bundling physical products with NFTs to provide broader value to customers. For example, celebrities are tapping into the market by bundling NFTs together with ticket and merchandise sales for concerts. This integration can be further enhanced on a business level to increase NFT adoption in general consumers.

Cryptocurrency is taking the world by storm!Cryptocurrency is taking the world by storm! With its decentralized and secure nature, it's no surprise that more and more people are turning to crypto as a way to store and transfer value. But what is a cryptocurrency, and how does it work? Simply put, cryptocurrency is a digital asset that uses cryptography to secure transactions and control the creation of new units. This means that transactions are verified and recorded on a decentralized, digital ledger called a blockchain. One of the biggest advantages of cryptocurrency is that it allows for fast and secure transactions without the need for intermediaries like banks. This means that users can send and receive funds quickly and easily, with low transaction fees. Another advantage of cryptocurrency is that it is decentralized, meaning that it is not controlled by any central authority like a government or bank. This makes it resistant to censorship and gives users more control over their own funds. But what about the risks? While there are certain risks associated with investing in cryptocurrency, it's important to remember that the technology is still in its early stages and is constantly evolving. As with any investment, it's important to do your research and understand the potential risks before diving in. Overall, the world of cryptocurrency is an exciting and rapidly growing field. With its potential to revolutionize the way we store and transfer value, it's no wonder that more and more people are taking notice. Whether you're a seasoned investor or just starting out, it's worth considering adding cryptocurrency to your portfolio.

Crypto wallets are basically platforms for the secure storage of digital assets in comparison to exchanges. Users could hold a wallet through an exchange account or a custody wallet and even from outside the exchange. As a matter of fact, cryptocurrency wallets help in storing the private keys to your cryptocurrency on the blockchain.  You can find two distinct variants of crypto wallets such as hot wallets and cold wallets. Users can access the hot wallets with connectivity to the internet through their desktops, mobile phones, or tablets. On the other hand, cold wallets store private keys to the cryptocurrency of users in offline storage, thereby ensuring better security. However, you have to focus on the security of the cold wallet itself, which might be in the form of a USB device or paper.
