After months of relying on tools to bypass the restriction, phone screens in Venezuela have begun loading the social network’s X feed again without the need to activate a VPN.

The platform, which had remained blocked by official order since August 2024, began showing signs of opening up progressively.

The most widespread and recent change has been strongly felt after the need to keep the population informed about the latest developments in the country—allowing thousands of users to share reports in real time directly from their mobile networks and local providers.

Although access started normalizing first with private carriers such as Digitel and Movistar, user reports confirm that it has been expanding, giving Venezuelans back the ability to interact directly on the largest digital public square in the world.

For many, this represents a technological breather and a crucial way to stay connected to what’s happening minute by minute, removing the annoying connection barriers that were slowing down local internet.
