Hong Kong says cryptocurrency WorldCoin violated the city's privacy laws

Hong Kong's privacy watchdog said on Wednesday that cryptocurrency project WorldCoin, created by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, violated the city's privacy laws by requesting "unnecessary and excessive" scans of users' eyes and faces.
