I started trading 4 months ago with $XRP being my first trade. I made 10 dollars in futures. It gave me confidence and greed, too. But, this greed brought me to none in the next hour.
I began again with fewer dollars as collateral and lower leverage. The bigger liquidation range helped me recover the loss.
As time passed on, I learned that the shorting strategy worked best for me. However; in the last two weeks, I became greedy and opened short on lowest low of $BTC , which clearly was a fatalistic approach. I didn't put stop loss, and while I was asleep, the bullish momentum ate my all collateral.
Well, emotional play and greed were the factors leading to my account getting short.
Now, I would buy only through Spot and keep it as a safe play.
I suggest buying $XRP at the lowest and letting it grow till the highest high reaches again.
