How I invest in cryptocurrencies using the principles of passive investing in the stock market
I took the TOP 10 cryptocurrencies in Coinmarketcap, excluding stable and meme coins. In total, they occupy 82% of the entire crypto market. Then I recalculated the share of each coin in the portfolio in accordance with its capitalization.

Passive investing involves following the market. There is no need to select individual assets and try to beat the market.
If the market decided that the share of#BTCis 54% (in the TOP-10 66%), then I, as a passive investor, follow this proportion without any questions. If in a year the proportion changes, I will repeat it.

$USDT = US Government Debt?
Tether is the issuer of the largest stablecoin USDT, which is pegged to the value of the US dollar at a ratio of 1:1.
The cryptocurrency is backed by US dollars and US Treasury bonds. Most of the assets are invested in US government bonds.
Tether holds assets worth about $86 billion to back its $83 billion stablecoin.

The majority of Tether's reserves, held in cash and cash equivalents, are US Treasury bills, which account for $72.6 billion.*

$BTC new forecast from PlanB: $500,000 already in this cycle?
Yesterday, the famous analyst PlanB published a new video with BTC forecasts based on a mathematical model.
Key points:
- The average price level for the period 2024-2028 is expected to be about $500,000 with possible deviations up to $1,000,000 and $250,000.
- BTC price will double in the next 3-5 months
- The phase of the beginning of the bull market, the price is stuck in the range of $60-70 thousand.
This time, PlanB has the highest price forecasts - 2-4 times higher than most analysts.
PlanB is the pseudonym of a famous analyst and trader who has become popular thanks to his Bitcoin forecasts. He created the Stock-to-Flow (S2F) model, which predicts the price of Bitcoin based on the ratio of stock to flow (the release of new coins). He actively shares his analyzes and forecasts on X (2 million subscribers) and YouTube (170 thousand subscribers).
All forecasts should be treated with caution and investment decisions should not be made based solely on them.

What % does Binance Simple Earn offer on the largest cryptocurrencies?
I decided to see what Binance Simple Earn offers today. Flexible and fixed interest rates:
BTC 0.27% flex*
ETH 3.2% staking*
BNB 0.32% flex
$SOL 5.6% fixed
$XRP 0.77% flex
$TON ---
$ADA 2.19% fixed
$TRX 2.43% flex
$AVAX 5.8% fixed
$DOT 11.9% fixed
My portfolio consists of the TOP 10 cryptocurrencies, weighted by capitalization: 86% BTC and ETH, and 14% other coins.
BTC and ETH make up the bulk of the portfolio, so I do not store them on exchanges for security reasons. The remaining alt coins take up 14% of the portfolio, and I am willing to risk them. Moreover, for some, Simple Earn offers a good percentage.

Compare the profitability for the last year:

Due to #BTC's low share, the index has contributed little to Bitcoin's rally over the past year. Perhaps everything will change when alt season arrives? I'll keep track, it's interesting.

How to form a passive portfolio for 100$ per month?
Auto investing in Binance is a tool that allows you to buy crypto in the required proportions at a certain frequency.
Example in the screenshot:
- Amount 100 USDT
- 70% #BTC
- 30% #ETH
- Frequency "Every month"
This means that the trading bot will buy BTC and ETH for you every month - for 70 and 30 USDT, respectively.
The commission is usually 0.2% per trade, but from 2024-07-17 to 2024-10-16 there is a zero commission promotion.

It is possible to create your own auto-investment plans or take the ready-made Binance TOP-10 index - it contains the 10 largest cryptocurrencies, each representing 10%.

Crypto portfolio from CIO Bitwise
Bitwise Investment Director Matt Hougan shared his vision of the crypto portfolio:

*Companies that operate in the field of cryptocurrency, for example: MARATHON (mining), MICROSTRATEGY (investment in BTC), COINBASE (crypto exchange in the USA), etc.
Bitwise has its own ETF for such companies - BITQ (Bitwise Crypto Industry Innovators ETF). Over the past year, the ETF is up "only" 68% compared to BTC's 128%. Whether these companies were overvalued previously, or, on the contrary, undervalued at the moment is an open question.
BTC and ETH can be purchased directly, but the BITQ ETF can only be purchased through a brokerage account.
