*📰 Project on Bitcoin reserve progresses in the Chamber*

The proposal that foresees the creation of a strategic reserve of Bitcoin for Brazil has reached a new chapter: the project has officially entered the agenda of the Chamber of Deputies.

The initiative proposes the creation of RESBit, a structure that would allow the government to allocate up to 5% of the country's international reserves in Bitcoin. Today, these reserves are mainly composed of sovereign bonds and other assets considered safe.

The measure opens a relevant debate about the diversification of reserves, but also raises important points such as the volatility of BTC, custody of the assets, and governance in managing these positions.
