How did I lose a thousand dollars?
Months ago, I entered the SUI currency with an amount of 400 dollars, and then the currency dropped by about 50%. I only had 20 dollars in USDT, so I boosted it, and during the American elections, the currency rose, allowing me to take out 900 dollars and invest it in some of my other currencies, and the profits remained. Then the currency rose, and I had 2500 dollars of it.
Greed got the better of me, and since the currency is one of the sponsors of Trump's inauguration and Trump's son is invested in it, I wanted to exit and sell at 3000 dollars, but the surprise was that when Trump was inaugurated, the cryptocurrency market dropped, and the currency reached 2000 instead of 2500. After a while, I sold at a price of 1500 dollars and exited, missing out on a realized profit of 1000 dollars.
Greed causes losses, a thousand dollars to boost now in the bear market is worth 10,000 dollars in the future.
Do not enter all at once into any currency; it is preferable to enter using DCA.
Note: I did not intend to invest in the currency for the long term; I was focusing on other projects.
