Web3 doesn’t need AI agents that simply act faster. It needs agents that make on-chain activity easier to understand and safer to manage.

That’s what makes Ptah’s Proof of Agent interesting to me. It explores how AI agent identity can become part of the on-chain experience, rather than leaving automation as a black box.

If I could delegate tasks to an agent, I’d start with tracking new opportunities, checking contract risks, monitoring transactions, and reminding me about claims or deadlines. The hardest part of Web3 is still knowing which actions are safe and understanding exactly what I’m approving.

What would make me trust an agent with more responsibility? Transparent transaction previews, clear explanations, strict spending limits, and my final approval before sensitive actions. Convenience matters, but control matters more.

AI should handle the repetitive work while users stay in charge of their assets. That’s the kind of agent-powered Web3 I want to see.
