How to Duel

Download the Game

First, download Spirit Force Arena from the Aavegotchi Game Center or Hyperplay and connect your wallet.

Create or Join a Match

Once you’re in, choose Duels mode, select an Aavegotchi (if you own one) or a Champion (if you don’t), and spin up a room.

Currently, anyone eligible in your selected division can join the match. There are eight divisions in total, ranging from Ensign to Colonel. For those with Aavegotchis, you can create a match in whichever Division your Aavegotchi ranks in. For those without one, you will start in the Ensign division and fight your way up.

Get randomly matched against another player or join a private arena to duel against your favorite Gotchigang frenemy and settle those long-standing grudges. 

Stake GHST

Get ready to duel! If you don’t have GHST already, you’ll be prompted to deposit GHST into Spirit Force Arena via the “Deposit GHST” dialog. 

These amounts are small during this early alpha stage, but once our system is fully battle-tested, they will increase. For the time being, the minimum per-match stake is 0.1 GHST, with the maximum set at 1 GHST. 

Note: GHST deposits are exclusively supported by Base. If your GHST is on Polygon, you can bridge via Superbridge or fast bridges like DeBridge.

You can also swap for GHST using Aerodrome, Uniswap, or any Base supporting DEX aggregator.

Fight!

Try your best to defeat your opponent. To help you in your battle, you may bring in HP/AP Potions and Protolick drones.

Don’t have any? The best way to earn potions and Protolicks is by leveling up your Aavegotchi Gaming Profile.

Fourteen new Wearable Schematics are coming in hot and ready for forging 🔥

In July 2024, AavegotchiDAO hosted a community design competition where talented artists flexed their pixel-crafting skills to create fourteen new Wearable Schematics.

Now, these unique Wearables are about to hit the Gotchiverse, and to make things even more exciting, 10% of them will be distributed through the first-ever DAO Forge Competition. It’s an ebic opportunity for the top 100 smithers to score exclusive schematics and showcase their forging skills!

What are Wearable Schematics?

Wearable Schematics are blueprints for crafting Aavegotchi wearable NFTs using the Forge system, which lets players both forge and smelt Wearables.

Wearables need 3 (or 4) main components to be forged:

Schematics

Cores

Alloy

…. and Essence for Godlike items or Pets

The rarity of Wearables is determined by the type of Core used.

You can also get some of those components by smelting a wearable. When you smelt a Wearable, you receive:

Note: When smelting Godlike items or pets, you won’t get any of the Essence back.

This system allows for customization and helps balance trait bonuses for Aavegotchis, with the community having a hand in their design.

Distribution

In the first DAO Forge Competition, 10% of new Wearable Schematics are up for grabs. The top 100 Gotchis with the highest smithing XP on the Forge Leaderboard get to take home a shiny new Wearable Schematic!

Rewards range from common to Mythical Schematics, with distribution based on leaderboard ranking. Essentially, the higher you place, the rarer the Schematics you’ll receive.

The best way to get your hands on one of these is through the upcoming snapshot that will take place on September 14th at 2:00 PM UTC during the weekly Gotchigang Hangout. Prizes will be distributed straight after, going directly to Gotchi owners’ wallets.

If all goes well, this competition could become a regular event!

These unique designs were pixelcrafted by SIX talented community artists, including Oliver Spoon from the Forge team, Xibot from Pixelcraft Studios, Z_tef, Laggin, Oggysk, and SOJU, a FAKE Gotchis artist.
