$KORU This time, Korean institutions and pension funds are buying together. Young people might not have to jump off buildings anymore—the elderly will take their place. But anyway, the South Korean government really did put up the money! These are personal opinions and not investment advice.
$KORU 🚨The real battle between bulls and bears in the Korean market: foreign investors are selling aggressively, while Korean institutions are stepping in!
On October 15, the KOSPI plunged **7.57%** to 5,554.22 points. Samsung Electronics fell **9.5%**, SK hynix dropped **11.1%**, and foreign investors recorded net sales of around **3.6 trillion won** in a single day!
October 13 was even more dramatic: foreign investors recorded net sales of around **4.52 trillion won**, while Korean institutions recorded net purchases of around **1.69 trillion won**.
Today, October 19, the KOSPI opened sharply lower, down **3.17%** at 5,488.41 points, but then quickly recovered.
Data as of 9:12 a.m. Korea time: 🔹Foreign investors: net purchases of around **157.1 billion won** 🔹Institutions: net purchases of around **215.5 billion won**
This shows that buyers are indeed stepping in at lower levels.
But there’s an obvious caveat: foreign investors sold **3–4 trillion won** worth of shares in recent days, while this morning’s inflows were only in the hundreds of billions. The difference is enormous.
So what really matters for the Korean market next isn’t a single candlestick, but:
👉 Will foreign investors resume selling at the trillion-won level? 👉 Will Korean institutions and pension funds continue adding to their positions? 👉 Can Samsung and SK hynix stop falling?
If foreign investors keep returning and institutions continue buying, the Korean market could see a strong rebound. But if foreign investors pull out on a large scale again, Korean institutions may not be able to absorb the selling.
**The most important data to watch next: foreign investors’ net purchases and sales.**
$KORU 🚨 **Is the Korean market safe now that it’s rebounding? First, let’s see just how much foreign investors have sold!**
The biggest question hanging over the South Korean stock market right now isn’t how far it has fallen, but whether foreign investors will keep pulling out!
📉 **October 15:** Foreign investors were net sellers of approximately **3.6 trillion won**. The KOSPI plunged **7.57%**, closing at 5,554.22 points. Samsung Electronics fell 9.5%, and SK hynix fell 11.1%.
📈 **October 16:** The KOSPI rebounded **2.05%**, closing at 5,668.05 points. Foreign investors turned net buyers, purchasing approximately **172.1 billion won**.
But here’s the key point!
Friday’s net foreign buying was less than **5%** of the previous day’s net selling!
Even more worth noting: according to Bank of Korea data, foreign investors were net sellers of approximately **$14.16 billion** in South Korean stocks in September.
So, does Friday’s rebound mean the crisis is over?
I don’t think we can draw that conclusion just yet!
Here are three key signals to watch next:
🔴 Whether foreign investors resume large-scale net selling 🔴 Whether Samsung Electronics and SK hynix can hold on to their rebound 🔴 Whether the South Korean government’s market-support measures actually translate into buying
**For KORU, sustained foreign inflows could fuel a rebound. But if foreign investors pull out on a large scale again and South Korean chip stocks continue to weaken, KORU will also face renewed downward pressure.**
👇 Do you think the Korean market will keep rebounding on Monday, or fall again?
🚨AGT has gone completely wild, but I actually think this is when we need to be most cautious!
The AGT/WBNB main pool is currently around **$0.075**. Over the past 24 hours, gains at one point came close to **+92%**, with a 24H high of around **$0.09595** and a low of around **$0.03794**.
But the main pool has only around **$2.75 million** in liquidity.
What does this mean?
**Trading volume is enormous, but the pool is not deep.**
If large investors buy in all at once, the price can rise quickly. Conversely, if they cash out all at once, the pullback could be extremely sharp.
What’s more, AGT just went through an unlock of around **164 million tokens** on October 16, so we can’t focus only on the “AI narrative + surge”—we also need to consider the selling pressure from potential new supply. citeturn0search22
📊Here are the three levels I’ll be watching next:
🟢 **$0.078–$0.083**: Reclaiming and holding this range would suggest that bulls may still have room to push higher.
🚀 **$0.090–$0.096**: The previous-high resistance zone. A decisive breakout above this range could reopen the upside.
🔴 **Around $0.068**: An important short-term support zone.
If **$0.068** fails to hold, I’ll start watching out for a deeper round of profit-taking after this rally.
So I’m not going to simply shout “keep going” about AGT right now.
My view is:
# AGT has entered a real showdown between bulls and bears.
A move back above **$0.083** would put the bulls back in control;
A break above **$0.096** would be a genuine breakout;
A drop below **$0.068** would mean we should be wary of a rapid retreat after the surge.
👇What do you think AGT will do next: break above **$0.096** first, or fall back to **$0.068** first?
KORU closed at $10.64 on Friday, plunging 11.41%, and traded around $10.51 after hours. Meanwhile, the KOSPI rebounded 2.05% to 5,668.05, with Samsung up 2.62% and SK Hynix up 0.79%.
But don’t rush to call a reversal! Foreign investors net sold about 11.21 trillion won worth of KOSPI stocks last week.
🔥If the Korean index falls another 3% on Monday, KORU’s theoretical daily target is about -9%; if the index rebounds 3%, the theoretical target is about +9%.
$KORU , you're really something. When I short, it goes up; when I go long, it goes down. I try both long and short, and it just bounces around in between. I won't close my position unless I make a profit. Go on bouncing around like that if you can!
$KORU Guys, the national team has stepped in to rescue the market—come buy the dip! The bulls, the lobsters, and everyone trapped in Q are all coming over.
