Binance’s $6.2 Billion Security Incident: 5 Things Airdrop Hunters Should Check
Binance’s $6.2 Billion Security Incident: 5 Things Airdrop Hunters Should Check The bottom line: Binance disclosed a security incident on October 29–30, estimating that approximately $6.3 billion was affected, with about $3 billion already frozen on-chain. Binance has pledged to provide full compensation using its SAFU fund and corporate funds. Deposits are operating normally, withdrawals are paused, and service is expected to resume within 48 hours. This isn’t a reason to panic; it’s a reminder that keeping your assets on any centralized platform long-term means taking on “platform risk.” 【Background: What happened】 • Binance’s official announcement said that a preliminary investigation indicated the incident may have involved a DevOps engineer’s computer being compromised, allowing the attacker to access a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions. The company said there is currently no evidence that wallet private keys were exposed.
📊 BNB Chain Q3 Report: Revenue Up 54%, but Daily Active Addresses Down 14%
BNB Chain released Blockworks’ Q3 holder report, and the data is a mixed bag: • Network revenue: $54.2 million, up 54% quarter over quarter ($49.1 million in transaction fees + $5.1 million in MEV) • Quarterly transactions: 1.51 billion, up 7.5% • Average daily active addresses: 2.1 million, down 14% quarter over quarter; average daily new addresses: 482,000, down 27% • Smart contracts deployed: 12.3 million (4.5 million in Q2); around 5,100 unique deployers per day, up 13% • Tokenized stock trading volume: around $25.6 billion
Analysis: Transaction counts are still rising because each active address is sending more transactions (around 7.8 per day on average). Revenue is being supported by “fewer but more active users.” The surge in contract deployments is partly driven by automation and AI Agent tools, and doesn’t necessarily mean real users grew year over year.
Airdrop farming tip: Activity in the ecosystem is becoming concentrated among high-frequency, tool-oriented users. Before interacting with a project, check whether it has real users and a real product—don’t focus only on points. For on-chain interactions, pay only the gas fee; don’t grant approvals or transfer funds to unfamiliar contracts.
Do you think the decline in daily active users is due to the industry cycle, or has a new narrative yet to take over? Let’s discuss in the comments 👇

⚠️ The easiest time to get caught out after the Binance incident: fake “payouts/SAFU compensation” phishing is here
A Binance announcement (Beijing time, 10-30 02:23) said the estimated impact was about $6.3 billion, with about $3 billion already frozen on-chain, and that all losses would be covered by the SAFU Fund and company funds. Scammers love to exploit moments like this: • Fake “compensation airdrops”: They ask you to connect your wallet and approve a transaction; one signature could drain your funds • Fake customer support DMs: They ask for your verification code, seed phrase, or an “advance fee” to process a refund • Fake withdrawal recovery links: Binance says withdrawals are expected to resume within 48 hours. Don’t click any unofficial links • Fake “official Binance” groups, spoofed domains, and impersonator X accounts
🛡️ Airdrop-farming tip: Official compensation will only be announced through Binance’s official announcements and app notifications. They will never ask for your seed phrase or ask you to transfer funds or grant approvals. If you see “limited-time claim,” stop and think. Make sure anti-phishing codes and 2FA are enabled on your account, and use a separate account for all airdrops.
Have you received similar “compensation” DMs recently? Share in the comments, and I’ll help you spot the fakes 👇
🟢 Positive • Binance co-CEO He Yi said withdrawal services are expected to begin resuming within 48 hours after an update scheduled for around 12:17 Beijing time. Deposits are unaffected. • Binance said it will cover all losses using the SAFU Fund and company funds. About $3 billion has been frozen on-chain so far, and Binance will update its proof of reserves after the fix is complete.
🔴 Negative • $BNB fell about 7% following the security incident (The Block data, Oct 29). Binance withdrawals remain suspended, and the launches of Binance Alpha and PREDICT have also been postponed. • Blockchain analytics firm TRM Labs estimates that about $6.36 billion in assets were transferred out across 10 chains in roughly 20 minutes, and points to a hacking group linked to North Korea. Binance has not confirmed the attribution and is still investigating. • According to CoinDesk, institutional investors are accelerating the withdrawal of assets from centralized exchanges.
For holders: Watch for official announcements before withdrawals resume. Trust only official Binance channels, and beware of phishing messages from people impersonating customer support.

🛡️ Airdrop farming in practice: Use the “separate burner wallet” method to keep airdrop risks contained
With security incidents happening across the industry lately, airdrop farmers need to protect their principal first. Here’s an isolation process I use myself:
• Step 1: Create a dedicated burner wallet and only put in enough funds to cover Gas. Don’t mix it with your main wallet or larger holdings. • Step 2: Before interacting, check the project’s official website, official Twitter account, and Binance announcements. Only proceed if the information matches across all three. • Step 3: Only do interactions that can be completed by paying Gas. Abandon anything that asks for unlimited approvals, transfers, or your private key/seed phrase. • Step 4: Use an approval checker once a week to revoke old approvals. Make it a habit. • Step 5: Keep track of each project’s interaction dates and points. Don’t rely on your memory.
Airdrop farming tip: It’s better to skip a project than expose your main wallet for a little potential gain. Treat any “compensation airdrop” or “urgent migration” link as phishing until proven otherwise.
Do you farm airdrops with one wallet or keep them isolated across multiple wallets? Share your approach in the comments 👇
📢 Binance official security incident update: Initial findings point to a DevOps engineer’s computer being compromised
• An official announcement (published October 30 at 10:23 Beijing time) said the initial investigation suggests the incident may be linked to a DevOps engineer’s laptop being compromised. The attackers used it to access a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal requests • Binance said it has found no evidence that wallet private keys were leaked • Binance estimates the total impact at approximately $6.3 billion, with approximately $3 billion already frozen on-chain • Binance said it will cover all losses using the SAFU Fund and company funds. Deposits and withdrawals are temporarily suspended and will resume after security checks are complete. Binance will also update its proof of reserves after remediation • A detailed technical postmortem will be published only after the investigation is complete and the facts have been verified
⚠️ Risk warning: Moments like this are when phishing links claiming “compensation airdrops” or saying “authorization is required to restore withdrawals” are most likely to appear. Use official channels only. Don’t click unfamiliar links, sign any authorization, or reveal your seed phrase to anyone.
Have you received any suspicious “compensation” DMs in the past two days? Share in the comments to help everyone stay safe 👇
🔴 Bearish • Binance exchange: Official statement says the total impact of the security incident was approximately $6.3 billion, with about $3 billion frozen on-chain. Preliminary investigations point to a DevOps engineer’s laptop being compromised, allowing the attacker to submit unauthorized withdrawals (announced at 10:23 Beijing time; no evidence of private key leaks has been found so far) • Binance: Deposits and withdrawals remain suspended. The official statement says they will resume after security checks are complete; a detailed incident review report will be released later • $PREDICT : The spot listing scheduled for 18:00 today has been postponed. The new time will be announced separately
🟢 Positive (cushion) • Binance says it will cover all losses using the SAFU Fund and company funds, and publish an updated proof of reserves after remediation
What this means for holders: The official statement says user funds are safe, but there is no confirmed timeline for withdrawals to resume. Use only official channels, beware of fake customer service representatives and phishing, and manage positions and leverage during this volatile period.

🧵 Full postmortem of the Binance hot wallet hack: 8 chains drained in just 55 minutes
Compiled from on-chain tracking by Dickson, a CertiK engineer and SEAL member. Times are in Beijing time; data current to around 07:50 on 10/30.
📌 Summary: A total of about $6.28 billion was transferred out across 8 chains, with $6.07 billion moved in the first 55 minutes. About $2.8 billion was frozen afterward. The hackers still had about $3.27 billion they could freely move, mainly in BTC and ETH.
1. Preparations the day before • 10/28 15:39: The main wallet withdrew funds from Tornado Cash • 10/29 10:28: Deployed a sweeping contract; that evening, rehearsed using EIP-7702 on their own wallet • 23:59: Deployed the v2 contract, which was later used to transfer out $820 million in USDC
2. From 04:04, 8 chains fell one after another • 04:04 XRP: The first RLUSD transfer was rejected because the account was not activated; 8 seconds later, 185 million XRP was successfully transferred out • 04:10: 965,000 SOL; 04:18: 44.2 million OP • 04:20: 18,270 BTC, split into batches of 1,000 in the same block • 04:20: 613 million USDT on Tron; 04:30: Arbitrum and Avalanche 👉 Private keys across multiple chains were used almost simultaneously. The issue was with the hot wallet signing system, not a particular contract
3. Ethereum: EIP-7702 takeover • 04:20:59: The hackers submitted 50 7702 authorizations signed with Binance 14’s private key, signed just minutes earlier • Once the authorizations took effect, Binance 14 was running the hackers’ code • 04:24: A single sweep() transferred out 167,000 ETH, 1.615 billion USDT, and 61 tokens, worth a total of $2.53 billion • 24 seconds later, Binance 16 signed another 9 transfers, worth a total of $174 million • 04:41/04:59: $820 million in USDC was transferred out through trusted smart wallets
4. Racing to freeze the funds • The hackers split up USDT while converting it to ETH through market makers and DEXs; they also deposited $60 million into Aave to borrow ETH • 05:01: Tether made its first freeze, blocking 971 million USDT; 05:04: Circle froze 820 million USDC • The hackers moved funds mere seconds before the freezes, while Tether kept chasing and blacklisting them • Of the 1.875 billion USDT on Ethereum, about $435 million was sold before the freeze, and $1.38 billion was frozen • Ripple, Paxos, World Liberty, and Binance (wBETH) also froze funds in turn; 345 million FDUSD could still be transferred at the time
5. The battle for Binance 14 • 06:06: Tether blacklisted Binance 14 itself; 06:39: The hackers’ final sweep succeeded • 06:55–07:07: Binance moved the remaining assets first; at 07:36, the hackers called sweep() 4 more times, but all attempts failed
6. Assets not frozen (around 07:50) • $BTC 18,270 units, worth about $1.42 billion, untouched to date • $ETH about 459,000 units, worth about $1.03 billion • $289 million in XRP, $243 million in TRX, and about $280 million in other assets
7. Key takeaways 1️⃣ The core issue was a breach of the signing infrastructure, not a contract vulnerability 2️⃣ A single EIP-7702 authorization can turn a hot wallet into a one-click sweeper; exchanges need to review their signing strategies 3️⃣ Stablecoin freezes helped recover nearly half the assets, but no one can freeze BTC or ETH 4️⃣ Keep an eye on where the hackers’ ETH and BTC go next 5️⃣ Binance says it will cover all losses; any “reimbursement registration” link is a phishing scam

🔍 What assets were stolen from Binance? How much impact will they have on the market?
According to ChainCatcher’s comprehensive analysis, based on prices at 04:24 Beijing time on 10/30, approximately $6.28 billion worth of assets were transferred, distributed as follows: • Ethereum chain: $3.74 billion (ETH, USDT, USDC, and more than 60 other tokens) • Bitcoin: 18,270 BTC, worth approximately $1.47 billion • TRON: 613 million USDT plus 46.4 million TRX, worth approximately $628 million • XRP: 233.5 million tokens, worth approximately $297 million • Solana: approximately 970,000 SOL, worth approximately $96 million • Other: ARB, AVAX, OP, etc., totaling approximately $60 million
🧊 Most stablecoins have been frozen Tether, Circle, and issuers of RLUSD, XAUt, and other tokens have frozen a total of approximately $2.4 billion to $2.8 billion. Binance confirmed that $2.54 billion has been frozen. So the risk of USDT/USDC being dumped or depegging is very low.
⚠️ The real selling pressure is in assets that “can’t be frozen” 1️⃣ Altcoins have already been heavily dumped According to Lookonchain data, the hacker has sold seven tokens on-chain and swapped them for approximately 70,500 ETH (about $158 million): • 7.02 million UNI, worth approximately $39.63 million • 217.5 million ENA, worth approximately $33.93 million (fully sold) • 7.77 trillion PEPE, worth approximately $31.66 million • 2.57 million LINK, worth approximately $26.05 million • 128,000 AAVE, worth approximately $14.27 million • More than $6 million each in ONDO and WLD On-chain liquidity for these tokens is limited. Concentrated selling over a short period can directly push down spot prices, while also creating opportunities for arbitrage and short selling. Most of this selling pressure has already been absorbed, so there is little room for another large-scale sell-off.
2️⃣ ETH is the biggest sword hanging over the market According to EmberCN, the hacker currently holds approximately 467,000 ETH (about $1.06 billion). Liquidity on DEXs such as Uniswap is limited. To cash out a large amount of ETH, the hacker would have to use cross-chain bridges or mixers, or sell it gradually on DEXs. Any movement of this ETH on-chain could trigger panic, and $ETH is likely to remain under pressure in the short term, underperforming BTC.
3️⃣ BTC hasn’t moved yet The 18,270 BTC (approximately $1.44 billion) have not been transferred so far. Compared with BTC’s daily trading volume of tens of billions of dollars, even selling all of it would have a limited impact; sentiment is the bigger risk.
4️⃣ XRP, TRX, SOL Their total value is less than $1 billion. Ripple has frozen approximately $200 million in RLUSD. The remainder is unlikely to have a major impact on the broader market, but individual tokens could face sharp short-term sell-offs.
📉 Impact on the broader market • Sentiment impact exceeds actual selling pressure: BTC briefly fell to approximately $77,000, BNB dropped about 8% in 24 hours, and approximately $628 million in liquidations occurred across the market in one hour • BNB faces the most direct pressure: The market is concerned about Binance’s solvency. Binance and He Yi have said they will cover all losses. The SAFU fund holds 15,000 BTC (approximately $1.16 billion), but the losses in this incident that have not been frozen are about $3.4 billion. Binance will need to cover the amount exceeding SAFU with its own funds • Deposits and withdrawals suspended: The flow of funds is disrupted, Alpha trading has halted, and the launch of new tokens such as PREDICT may be affected • Freezing efforts have exceeded expectations: Nearly half of the stolen assets have been frozen, so the selling pressure is far less than the “$6 billion stolen” headline suggests
✅ My observations 1. First, watch where the hacker sends the approximately 467,000 ETH: into a mixer, across chains, or to an exchange 2. Watch when Binance resumes deposits and withdrawals, and whether its proof of reserves (PoR) is updated. This will determine whether confidence in BNB recovers 3. Selling pressure on UNI, ENA, LINK, and PEPE has largely eased. Watch for an oversold rebound, but don’t buy the dip with leverage 4. Don’t click any links related to “compensation” or “claims registration”

🔧 The Jenner hard fork is live on the BSC testnet: a “payment-only lane” for BNB Chain
• Payment Lane (BEP-703): Reserves 5% of each block’s Gas for eligible payments by default; governance can raise this to a maximum of 10% • Eligible payments: Non-zero BNB transfers to regular accounts; stablecoins and other contracts require separate governance approval, and the initial allowlist is empty • Millisecond timestamps (BEP-706): Contracts can call a precompile to read time in milliseconds; block speed itself remains unchanged • CAS20 (BEP-702): A compliant asset standard for stablecoins and RWAs; governance must separately enable token creation • The official mainnet launch date has not yet been confirmed; media reports point to late November
Airdrop farming / risk warning: This is a testnet upgrade, not a promise of an airdrop. Treat any links claiming to offer “Jenner testnet rewards” that ask you to grant permissions or sign with your wallet as phishing attempts.

🆕 Binance lists PREDICT today at 18:00: Seed tag applied, simultaneously delisted from Alpha
• Binance announcement: Predict (PREDICT) spot trading opens on 2026-10-30 at 10:00 UTC (18:00 Beijing time), with trading pairs PREDICT/USDT, USDC, and TRY • Withdrawals are expected to open on October 31 at 10:00 UTC (18:00 Beijing time); listing fee: 0 BNB • The token has been given a Seed tag: high volatility and high risk. You must pass a risk quiz before trading and retake it every 90 days • Alpha holdings: can be transferred to a spot account 15 minutes before spot trading opens. After trading opens, PREDICT will be delisted from Alpha. You can still sell instantly through Alpha for one hour, but this will no longer count toward Alpha Points. Any remaining balance will be transferred to spot within 24 hours • The project is a prediction market on the BNB Chain
Airdrop-farming tip: New tokens can be volatile at launch. Read the rules carefully before deciding whether to participate. Don’t chase the price or click suspicious “claim” links—only trust official announcements.

🚨 Oct 30 Morning Briefing|Binance hot wallets may have been attacked, BNB down nearly 9% in 24h—let’s look at the facts first
• Market (CoinGecko, Beijing time 08:15): BTC around $77,719 (24h -4.3%), ETH around $2,241 (-4.9%), BNB around $693.7 (-8.6%, 24h range $683–$758) • Incident: On-chain data shows large amounts of assets transferred from several Binance-labeled hot wallets to new addresses. Estimates range from $2 billion to over $5 billion; the figures have not been officially confirmed • Official response: Binance said user funds are “completely safe” and temporarily suspended withdrawals on several networks due to a security incident. An investigation is underway • Freezes: Tether said it froze over 1.56 billion USDT; Circle froze around $800 million in USDC • Market: Several media outlets cited Coinglass data showing liquidations briefly exceeded $1 billion, mostly among long positions. The Fed’s earlier decision to hold interest rates steady at 3.75%–4.00% also weighed on risk appetite
Airdrop farming tips / risk warning: Moments like this are prime time for phishing links and fake support agents claiming to offer “compensation airdrops,” “rewards for resuming withdrawals,” or “security verification.” Trust only official Binance announcements and accounts. 🔄 Update on suspected Binance hot wallet hack (morning of October 30)
About 3 hours have passed since the first abnormal outflow at 4:24 a.m. Here are several new developments:
1️⃣ The attack method is coming to light Several on-chain developers believe the attacker used EIP-7702 to install a delegated contract on the hot wallet "Binance 14": 3 minutes and 24 seconds after the signed delegation took effect, 167,464 ETH, approximately 1.6 billion USDT, and more than 60 other tokens in the wallet were swept out in a single transaction. This contract only accepts calls from the address funded by Tornado Cash. Officials have not yet confirmed this claim.
2️⃣ The theft did not stop immediately after the official statement After Binance issued its statement that "user funds are completely safe," at around 5:44 a.m. Beijing time, the attack address swept out another approximately 200 million USDT and 370 ETH that had accumulated in Binance 14. According to the latest reports, the wallet remains in a delegated state, but has not been swept again since.
3️⃣ The amount frozen has grown Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino confirmed that approximately $1.57 billion had been frozen. Circle froze approximately 823 million USDC, and Ripple reportedly froze approximately $200 million, bringing the total frozen to around $2.36 billion to $2.39 billion. Arkham has labeled the related addresses "binance-hack."
4️⃣ The hacker has started moving assets that cannot be frozen The receiving address has transferred approximately 195,000 ETH to a new address and begun moving out tokens including approximately 217.5 million ENA. BTC, ETH, and these types of tokens are the main potential sources of further selling pressure.
5️⃣ Withdrawal status Binance said some users' withdrawal issues were caused by a "technical error" and that its team was working to restore service; user funds are SAFU. Binance has still not officially confirmed that it was hacked, nor has it disclosed the amount of losses or the cause. The SAFU fund was fully converted into 15,000 BTC in February this year.
📉 Market: $BTC hit a low of around $78,297, $BNB fell about 7%, liquidations across the crypto market approached $1 billion, and Monero rose about 6% against the trend.
👉 Reminder: All "compensation claims" and "account verification" offers are scams. Use only official Binance channels. Avoid leverage and wait for a full explanation from the company.
⚠️ Information is still changing and does not constitute investment advice.
📉 BTC falls below $80,000: 5 reasons behind the drop
Current prices (Beijing time, 10/30 05:10): $BTC approx. 78,920|$ETH approx. 2,255|$BNB approx. 703 (down approx. 6% from yesterday). Meme coins are the weakest sector, with the CoinDesk Memecoin Index down 3.4% on the day.
Why the drop? 1️⃣ Hawkish Fed: Rates held steady at 3.75%–4%, but two committee members voted for a 25 bp hike, and Chair Warsh gave no indication of the direction for December. 2️⃣ Inflation rebounds: September PCE rose 0.5% month over month, while the annual rate climbed from 3.4% to 3.6%. Markets began betting on a December hike; the 10-year Treasury yield is above 5%, weighing on risk assets. 3️⃣ Tech stocks lead the sell-off: Alphabet plunged about 12% after earnings missed expectations, Samsung fell 4%, and Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 1.1%, with crypto and tech stocks weakening in tandem. 4️⃣ Cascade of leveraged liquidations: About $356 million in positions were liquidated over 24 hours, mostly longs. The drop triggered liquidations, which drove prices lower and caused further liquidations. 5️⃣ Weak demand: CryptoQuant data shows apparent BTC demand was negative this month, which could make this the weakest October since 2020.
Supporting factors: ✅ U.S. spot BTC ETFs saw $137 million in net inflows on Wednesday, marking three consecutive days of inflows ✅ Open interest and funding rates have fallen, flushing out some overheated leverage ✅ U.S. GDP beat expectations, with no signs of a recession
What to watch next: Whether BTC can reclaim $81,400 before the weekly close; inflation and employment data ahead of the December rate decision.
When the broader market weakens, small-cap coins tend to fall harder. Manage position sizes and use strict stop-losses.
🧭 Airdrop farming in practice: 5-step safety checklist before claiming
Whenever you see “limited-time claim,” don’t rush to click. Take 2 minutes to run through this checklist: • Step 1: Only access it through official Binance announcements or the Alpha page in the app. Don’t click links in group chats or DMs. • Step 2: Claims should only cost points or a small amount of gas. If anything asks you to “approve,” “sign a transfer,” or “enter your seed phrase,” walk away. • Step 3: Use a dedicated wallet with only a small balance for airdrop farming. Don’t use your main asset wallet for these activities. • Step 4: Before claiming, check the deadline (convert it to Beijing time) and the points threshold. Don’t leave it until the last minute. • Step 5: Once you’re done, check your wallet and revoke any unnecessary past approvals.
Airdrop farming tip: If you miss an opportunity, there’ll be another one. If your wallet gets drained, there won’t be another one. Manage the risks before thinking about the rewards.

🏆 Spot Trading Volume Championship Season 9 is live: 400 BNB prize pool—sign up before trading
• Event period: Oct 28, 18:00 to Nov 4, 18:00 (Beijing Time), for 7 days • Eligible trading pairs: XRP/USDC, USUAL/USDT • Prize pool: 400 BNB in token vouchers, shared based on trading volume rankings, plus an additional limited-time prize pool • Requirements: Complete identity verification and reach a cumulative trading volume equivalent to approximately $500 during the event. No rewards will be given if you don't meet the requirements. • Important: You must click to sign up on the event page first. Trades made before signing up won't count.
💡 Trading tip: Trading competitions are essentially about trading fees and slippage in exchange for a higher ranking. It's tough to place near the top with a small account. Calculate your costs first—don't use leverage just to boost volume, and don't engage in wash trading, or you'll be disqualified.
Risk warning: Small-cap tokens like USUAL are highly volatile. Don't take a large position just to increase your trading volume.

🚀 BNB Chain plans to launch another chain: targeting 200 ms block times, but currently only in internal testing
Official documentation (October 22) revealed the initial design goals for the New L1. Note that these are all targets and have not yet been tested on a public network: • Target block time of 200 ms, pre-confirmation in about 20 ms, and final confirmation within 1 second • No public mempool; transactions are sent directly to block-producing nodes, making it harder for front-running bots to strike • No new token: BNB will remain the sole asset for gas, staking, and governance • Currently only an internal devnet; public testnet planned for late 2026, mainnet for early 2027 • The native bridge from BSC to the new chain is still in development
Airdrop-hunting tip: Before the public testnet launches, so-called “new chain airdrop campaigns” online are likely just riding the hype or even phishing scams. Stay away from anything asking you to approve a transaction, transfer funds, or enter your private key. Wait for announcements about the official testnet from official channels, then try it out using a burner wallet and only pay gas.

📊 Binance Spot 24h Top Gainers & Losers | October 29 Morning Market
Market overview: BTC around $79,915 (-1.2%), ETH around $2,307 (-2.1%), while $BNB around $747 (+0.4%) bucked the trend and turned positive. Overall, the market is weak, with capital rotating among a handful of narrative-driven coins.
🟢 Top gainers (Binance Spot USDT pairs, trading volume above 3 million U) • $INIT +39%, at 0.2208, with a 24h range of 0.157–0.258 and trading volume of about 20.9 million U. Catalyst: On October 28, the Initia Foundation announced it would fund the collateral shortfall in iUSD caused by the October 23 exploit (up to 1.08 million USDC, 105 ETH, and 1.4 million AUSD0). Note: The mainnet is still paused, and no restart date has been set. • SHELL +17%, at 0.0278 • BLUR +14.8%, at 0.0085, with trading volume of about 8.7 million U • HUMA +10.6%, at 0.0272
🔴 Top losers • $NFP -65.9%, at 0.00181, with a 24h high of 0.0057. It had surged about 9x over the previous 7 days, but gave almost all of that back today—a classic pump and dump. • CHIP -12.9%, NIL -12.6%, BANK -11.2% • ERA -7.8%, GTC -7.9%
🏦 Performance of large-cap coins (top 40 by market cap) • Biggest declines: NEAR -5.3% (4.46), ENA -4.9%, ADA -4.4%, ZEC -4.4%, AVAX -4.1%, HYPE -3.4%, XRP -3.2% • Holding up / turning positive: LTC +1.8%, $BNB +0.4%, TRX -0.2%
💡 Take: Today's gainers are mainly event-driven plays and small-cap rotation. INIT looks like a “relief bounce after the bad news is out,” but the chain has yet to recover, so think carefully before chasing a rally. Tokens like NFP that rise 9x in 7 days often fall just as fast and hard. Most large caps are down 3–5%, while BNB is relatively the most resilient. Don't chase coins that have already run; set strict stop-losses.

🎯 Alpha Airdrop Round 2: Claim 197 UP—First, Figure Out Whether These 15 Points Are Worth It
Yesterday, Unitas (UP) launched its second airdrop on Binance Alpha. Key rules: • Requirement: At least 244 Alpha Points; first come, first served • Each account can claim 197 UP • If the pool isn’t fully claimed, the requirement automatically drops by 5 points every 5 minutes • Claiming costs 15 points • After claiming, you must confirm on the Alpha Events page within 24 hours, or your claim will be forfeited
Airdrop farming tip: Don’t just see “free”—calculate the points cost. Claiming deducts 15 points, which may also affect the requirement for the next airdrop. Airdrop tokens can be highly volatile when they first launch, so check liquidity before deciding whether to sell. Only use the official Binance Alpha Events page. Don’t click unfamiliar links or authorize any wallets.
Do you usually rush to claim in the first round, or wait for the requirement to drop? Share your thoughts in the comments.
