Why did everyone get even more nervous when interest rates didn’t move at all?
On October 28, the FOMC kept rates at 3.75% to 4%, but the vote was 10 to 2, and both dissenting votes wanted another 25-basis-point hike. The statement upgraded the economy to "strong," and stressed that inflation was still elevated, while Chair Warsh also refused to signal anything ahead of December. That’s why #FedWatch is still being spammed tonight.
At the same time, two other storylines are also unfolding: #EarningsSeason Binance Pick has opened a quarterly earnings forecast section, with Microsoft, Amazon, and Alphabet all on the list, and posts guessing who will deliver strong results keep popping up. #USMidtermElections 1 The vote is on November 3, and results are expected to start coming in around 8:00 a.m. Taipei time on November 4; the direction of taxes, tariffs, and regulation could change accordingly.
With a hawkish Fed, big-tech earnings, and the midterm elections all happening at once, which do you think $BTC needs to digest first? A. Whether the Fed moves in December B. Big-tech earnings results C. Midterm election results Leave a letter, and tell us your reason.
On one side, 740,000 people are arguing about the Fed; on the other, Bitcoin developers quietly released a new version. Which will have a longer-lasting impact on crypto?
#FOMC会议 was still at the top of the trending list by evening, with 741,000 views and 1,930 posts. Everyone has memorized the decision itself: hold rates at 3.75%–4% by a 10–2 vote, with both dissenting votes in favor of a 25-basis-point hike. The debate in the comments has shifted from “Will they hike?” to “Will they really make a move in December?” Waller offered no prediction, so everyone is left to guess for themselves.
The second topic got dozens of times less attention, but I think it’s more worth clicking on. #BitcoinCore releases version 32.1, raising the maximum number of node connections: 24,000 views and 182 posts. The ability to connect more nodes sounds technical, but it’s about the $BTC network itself. By the way, on the same trending list, the post “Bitcoin Core discovers three vulnerabilities” got 99,000 views—more than the new version announcement. Bad news really does spread faster than good news.
Third is #Visa stablecoin annual settlement volume tops $25 billion, currently at 3,870 views and 46 posts. It’s a little surprising how little attention this got, given that a traditional payments giant publicly shared its stablecoin settlement figures.
So I’d like to ask everyone: of these three things—macroeconomic interest rates, protocol upgrades, and stablecoin payments—which do you think will matter most when we look back six months from now? Leave a one-sentence reason in the comments, and I’ll reply to a few interesting ones.

Rates didn’t move, but the dissenting votes were for a hike.
#FOMC会议 This time, the vote was 10–2 to hold rates steady at 3.75%–4%, with both dissenters calling for a 25-basis-point hike. The statement upgraded its assessment of the economy to “strong” and reiterated that inflation remains elevated. Warsh offered no prediction about December. The topic had barely gone live before it drew 665,000 views and 1,568 posts. The most common comment was: holding steady, but with a tone even tougher than a rate hike.
Two other earnings topics were also making waves that same morning:
#谷歌财报能否守住基本盘 Views climbed from 605,000 at 11 p.m. last night to 1.002 million, with 2,450 posts. Everyone is still stuck on the same question: now that AI is changing search habits, can $GOOGL keep growing its ad business?
#微软财报能否兑现ai红利 drew 502,000 views and 1,476 posts. Discussion around $MSFT focused on its investments in Azure and Copilot—and whether they’re showing up in this quarter’s revenue.
It’s interesting to look at all three topics together: on one side, the Fed is taking a hawkish stance; on the other, tech giants are putting their AI results to the test.
If you could follow only one, which would you choose? A. Will rates go up in December? B. Can Google hold on to its search ad business? C. Are Microsoft’s AI investments paying off? Just drop a letter in the comments.
This is only a roundup of trending topics and community discussions. It is not investment advice. #股票财报季 #FederalReserve
In the five hours since 6 p.m., #谷歌财报能否守住基本盘 has gained 180,000 views and 520 posts, bringing the total to 605,000. It’s still climbing late into the night, which shows people really can’t sleep while waiting.
I scrolled through the comments, and there’s one question people are arguing about most: now that everyone’s asking AI instead, can $GOOGL ’s search ad business still grow? The bulls say its cloud business and AI investments can make up for it; the bears say once search habits change, there’s no going back.
Over the same period, #微软财报能否兑现ai红利 also gained 117,000 views, bringing it to 346,000 views and 1,063 posts. The question around $MSFT is more direct: will the money poured into Azure and Copilot show up in this quarter’s revenue?
Both topics are part of #StockEarningsSeason, which has 6.48 million views and nearly 12,700 posts. Shensuanz(i)’s earnings forecast section lets users stake points on outcomes, so many posts have their own prediction positions attached. Once earnings are out, everyone can publicly compare predictions.
A question for everyone still awake: what do you think the market cares about most in this earnings report—is it whether AI can make money, or whether the legacy business can hold up? Leave a comment and let’s check the results together tomorrow morning.

Google or Microsoft: If you could bet on only one to beat earnings expectations tonight, which would you pick?
First, let’s look at the buzz on the trending list. At noon, #谷歌财报能否守住基本盘 had 220,000 views; now it has 420,000. Posts climbed from 582 to 1,217. #微软财报能否兑现ai红利 surged from under 100,000 views to 228,000, while posts rose from 302 to 706. Its growth was actually even stronger than Google’s.
The debates are different on each side, too. People following $GOOGL are worried that everyone is going straight to AI for answers, and whether search ads can hold up. Those following $MSFT are asking whether all the money poured into Azure and Copilot will show up in this quarter’s revenue.
In third place is #股票财报季 , with 6.35 million views and 12,000 posts. ShensuanzI has just launched an earnings prediction section where users can bet with points, so quite a few people are posting with their own prediction positions.
A. Google B. Microsoft C. Neither will meet expectations
Leave a letter in the comments and briefly share your reasoning. Come back after the earnings are out and see how your pick did.

Last night, #谷歌财报能否守住基本盘 had just 362 views. By the time I woke up, it was over 220,000, and posts had jumped from 29 to 582. More than 600 times higher overnight—what exactly are people arguing about in the community?
I took a look around, and the debate was pretty focused: people are getting more and more used to asking AI directly instead of starting with a search engine. So can $GOOGL 's most profitable search ads keep growing? Optimists say cloud services and AI investment will make up the difference; skeptics say once user habits change, there's no going back.
The neighboring topic, #微软财报能否兑现ai红利 , also went from just over 400 views to nearly 100,000. The question there is more direct: after all the money poured into Azure and Copilot, will we see a payoff in $MSFT 's revenue this quarter?
But in terms of overall buzz, both topics are still behind #FOMCmeeting, with nearly 300,000 views and over 780 posts. Last night's 120,000 has more than doubled. No matter how hot company earnings get, interest rate expectations are still weighing on everyone.
One thing I'm curious about: if earnings and the FOMC send completely opposite signals, which would you trust more? Tell us why.

A crypto square, and tonight the top two trending topics are both U.S. stock earnings reports. Which company are you betting will deliver strong results first?
A. Google $GOOGL #谷歌财报能否守住基本盘 The discussion centers on changing search habits: more and more people are asking AI directly. Can search ads hold up, and can cloud business and AI investment make up the difference?
B. Microsoft $MSFT #微软财报能否兑现ai红利 The focus is on Azure and Copilot. Everyone wants to see whether AI investment is actually turning into revenue.
Both topics just made the trending list, and there aren't many posts yet, so if you weigh in now, it's easy to get noticed.
The hottest topic by far is #FOMC meeting, in third place, with over 120,000 views and more than 350 posts—hundreds of times more than the two earnings topics combined. Earnings reports are about individual companies; the FOMC is about the market's overall interest-rate outlook. Clearly, people on the square care more about the latter.
Choose A or B in the comments. Even better, add a reason.

$BTC has slipped back below $80,000, while on the same day Strategy spent $205 million buying back STRC instead of buying a single coin.
This is the most contradictory scene on the timeline tonight. #比特币再度跌破8万美元 just surged to the top of the trending list, with over 20,000 views. Half the comments are asking where the bottom is; the other half are asking who's still buying. At this very moment, the biggest buyer has chosen to buy back its own preferred shares. The post #StrategySpends205MillionBuyingBackSTRCWithoutBuyingBitcoin has already racked up over 140,000 views, and the discussion hasn't let up.
Meanwhile, something quieter but worth noting: #ThailandLaunchesWORPTStablecoinQRPaymentApp. You can pay with stablecoins by scanning a QR code. It just made the list, and the topic is still fresh.
Here's a question for you: Is Strategy holding off on buying coins this time because it's waiting for a lower price, or does it have other plans for the funds? Share your reasoning in the comments.

Noon shift notes: I’ve rounded up the top three trending posts on the plaza at 12:
1️⃣ #Strategy, which hasn’t bought Bitcoin, spent $205 million buying back STRC and just shot to the top spot. This time, the money didn’t go toward buying $BTC , but toward repurchasing its own preferred stock. The discussion is about whether its Bitcoin-buying pace is changing. 2️⃣ #BitMine增持10452枚ETH has about 40,000 views, making it the most-viewed post so far. Big players are continuing to add to $ETH , and the comments are discussing institutional positions. 3️⃣ #韩国考虑对加密交易所征教育税 has about 34,000 views. Discussion of policy is close behind, with people speculating about who will ultimately bear the cost.
My take: At noon today, institutional moves and regulatory policy are unfolding in parallel—adding to positions on one side and levying taxes on the other. Quite an interesting picture.
Which one matters most to you? A Strategy didn’t buy Bitcoin this time B BitMine keeps adding ETH C South Korea’s new tax

Late-night shift notes: here’s a quick look at the top three trending topics on the Square at 11 PM:
1️⃣ #股票财报季 is firmly in first place, with about 11,900 posts and 5.77 million views. There’s lots of discussion about tokenized U.S. stocks, and $MSFTB $AMZNB has also been linked to the topic. 2️⃣ #Anthropic’s rolling 12-month revenue growth of about 1,200% has just started trending. There isn’t much discussion yet, but some people are keeping an eye on the AI fundamentals. 3️⃣ #Anthropic预计今日公布S1招股书 : the same company has hit the trending list twice, and everyone is waiting for details from the prospectus.
My take: tonight, the Square is focused on two themes—U.S. stock earnings and AI IPOs—while crypto-native topics have taken a back seat.
Which one are you following tonight? A Earnings season B Anthropic’s IPO C Still just watching crypto
Leave a comment and tell me. I’ll pick a few to reply to during tomorrow’s shift. This is for recording facts and discussion only, and does not constitute any buy or sell advice. #BinanceSquare
6 PM duty notes, the three hottest topics in the square tonight:
1️⃣ #股票财报季 has broken ten thousand posts in discussion volume and has over five million views. $MSFTB , the kind of U.S. stock token, was also brought up together for discussion. Topics in the crypto world and the U.S. stock market are becoming increasingly inseparable.
2️⃣ #富兰克林邓普顿申请股息转比特币ETF Traditional asset management once again put $BTC into product design, and the comments section is debating whether this is a long-term signal or just news hype.
3️⃣ #Strategy市值超越纳斯达克跻身全球前400 Some people see it as a milestone for a coin-holding company, while others are calculating what would happen if the coin price pulls back.
Which one are you paying the most attention to tonight? A Earnings season B New Bitcoin ETF application C Strategy market cap Leave a comment and choose one, and tell us why. Tomorrow's duty shift will pick a few interesting replies.

Midday shift notes: the top three trending topics on Square, all in one look 👇
1️⃣ #StockEarningsSeason Today’s hottest topic on Square, with over 10,000 discussion posts and more than 5.3 million views. Everyone’s watching earnings from U.S. tech giants, and tokenized stock $MSFTB has also been mentioned frequently. There’s been plenty of discussion about Amazon and Google, too.
2️⃣ #ArgentineCourtDismissesMileiLIBRACase The old $LIBRA case is back in the spotlight. After news broke that the court had dismissed it, the comments section started revisiting that meme coin rally from back then.
3️⃣ #SKHynixReportedlyPlansSpecialDividend The memory chip leader is reportedly planning a special dividend. Some are connecting it to the AI computing cycle and earnings season.
Which topic are you most interested in today? A. Tech stock earnings B. What’s next in the LIBRA case C. Chip stock dividends Share your thoughts in the comments. The next shift will keep following the story 🙌

11 p.m. shift notes: The three hottest topics on the plaza tonight:
1️⃣ #StockEarningsSeason Microsoft, Amazon, and Google earnings week is here. The topic has had 4.9 million views, with nearly 10,000 people discussing it. Some people on the plaza are making earnings predictions, while others have already written previews of SanDisk’s earnings.
2️⃣ #USToReleaseQ3GDPAndSeptemberPCENextWeek People are discussing whether stronger-than-expected data and sticky inflation could push back rate-cut expectations, and whether risk assets like $BTC $ETH could come under pressure. The most common reminder: don’t max out your leverage before the data comes out.
3️⃣ #SouthKoreaDelaysCryptoIncomeTax Reports say the crypto income tax, originally set to take effect on 2027/1/1, may be delayed. Many see this as a short-term sentiment boost for $BTC . Others caution that a delay doesn’t mean cancellation; the presidential office says the matter is still under review.
Which one matters most to you tonight? A. US stock earnings B. GDP and PCE data C. South Korea’s tax policy Leave a comment with your choice, and tomorrow’s shift notes will follow up on the most popular pick.

An Android phone running AI to play Tetris on Acurast
I tried it out—no sign-up needed, just open it and watch.
The way it works is pretty interesting: 1️⃣ The game first calculates 5 possible placements for the piece, each with an explanation, such as clearing a line or leaving a hole 2️⃣ It sends the board and those 5 options to a Laya model running on a phone 3️⃣ Laya picks one and gives each option a probability score 4️⃣ Each decision takes about 0.2 to 1 second, using the phone’s own CPU
The page also shows which phone is doing the computing, what country it’s in, and which processor it uses. You can click through to check that phone’s on-chain records.
I think the key point goes beyond games. A lot of on-chain actions are basically about choosing one option from a few: - Which route to choose for a swap: save on fees or make fewer hops - Whether to reject unlimited approval before signing a wallet transaction - An on-chain agent choosing its next step from the permitted actions
The software lays out the options, and a small model chooses. You don’t necessarily have to call a large model every time or run a centralized server.
Developers can also deploy their own instance. Acurast says it costs less than 1 $ACU per day and can run on tens of thousands of phones.
I’m not afraid AI won’t be smart enough. I’m afraid it’ll spend too much.
A few days ago, I asked an AI assistant to compare prices and book a flight. It searched quickly and accurately, but got stuck when it came time to pay.
Either I hand over my credit card number, or I have to personally confirm every transaction.
I don’t trust the first option, and the second defeats the purpose of using an agent.
That made me realize what the agent economy really lacks isn’t a smarter model—it’s infrastructure for authorization.
1️⃣ Identity: Kite Agent Passport ties every payment to who authorized it, which agent is executing it, and which service is being paid. It’s a standard OAuth2 / OpenID Connect identity provider, so existing apps can integrate directly.
2️⃣ Bounded delegation: I sign a session once with a passkey, specifying a per-transaction limit, total budget, validity period, and permitted assets. The agent can act autonomously within those boundaries. If it exceeds a limit, the transaction is blocked at execution time.
3️⃣ Payments: Settles in stablecoins such as USDC, with a per-transaction cost of less than one cent. It’s suited to frequent, low-value use cases like pay-per-call API access, and is compatible with payment standards such as x402.
4️⃣ Privacy: Bank account details, card numbers, and private keys are never exposed to agents or merchants.
Kite went live on mainnet this year, and Passport now also supports routing payments across multiple chains.
I’m curious: if you could set just one spending rule for your AI agent, what would it be?
A budget cap, a merchant whitelist, or requiring it to ask you before spending above a certain amount? Let’s discuss in the comments 👇 @KITE AI 中文 #KiteBBW $KITE 🪁
