Binance Futures launched two Hong Kong stock symbols today: BYD (BYDUSDT) and Lenovo (HK0992USDT).
Time: 09-07 02:00 / 02:05 UTC, corresponding to 10:00 / 10:05 in Taipei. Both are USDT-margined perpetuals, with up to 20x leverage, and funding is settled every 4 hours, capped at ±1%.
One rule is worth noting separately: these two will not temporarily switch to the “hourly settlement when funding rate hits the cap” mechanism. The launch is a product change, not a long/short signal.

Foreign-region Apple IDs are back to talking about the “two-minute” trick: registration working does not mean payment will work
Before paying for Claude / Cursor, I ran into two traps twice: the card went through, but the Apple ID region was wrong — and the latter was even more annoying.
These past two days, I ran into another tutorial for foreign-region IDs. The gist is just three points: no need for an IP from the corresponding country, no need for a phone number from the corresponding country, and a mainland China number can be used to create IDs for other regions.
Sounds like a cheat code. I haven’t tried it yet; I’m saving it for now. If I really need an app from a certain region, I’ll use a spare account to test it once, and only write down the steps if it works. Registration working does not mean payment will work too — don’t mix those up.

Cybercab has started operating in Austin, Texas: no steering wheel, no pedals, no rearview mirrors. There’s been talk in the circle that “$0.12 per km and Uber is done” — but that needs to be unpacked.
After checking, $0.20 per mile (about $0.12/km) is Tesla’s target operating cost after scaling, not the current passenger fare. Right now, the reference price is roughly a $3 starting fee + $1.40 per mile; in the small-batch pilot stage, the actual cost is much higher.

On the U.S. stock side, some people are using it to find charts and read earnings reports on their own. I’m not treating it as a buy/sell instruction; I’m more concerned about whether the quota in the same U card subscription will run out faster—once the quota is used up, you wait for a refresh or add credits.

No hard-selling in the cold start; I’ll record barriers, failures, and differences in arrival times.
