One thing I find interesting about TermMax is how its security model is layered.
The bug bounty is currently capped at $50K on Immunefi, with critical smart-contract reports eligible for 10% of directly affected funds, subject to that cap and a $10K minimum.
That number should not be viewed as a guarantee against losses. A bounty is mainly an incentive for researchers to disclose vulnerabilities responsibly.
What matters more is the combination of different security measures around the protocol.
TermMax has publicly documented its use of security reviews, monitoring, multisig administration and timelocks as part of its security approach.
And with DefiLlama currently showing roughly $31M in TVL, the scale of the protocol makes those layers worth watching.
No security setup makes DeFi risk-free.
The real question is whether these protections continue to work as TermMax grows.
DeFiLlama currently shows $31.21M TVL, $19.93K in 30-day fees, and $27.27M in active loans. Those numbers give a different view from the broader figures being discussed around TermMax.
I’m not calling that a problem. Different metrics can tell different stories.
After TGE, I’ll be watching whether TVL, active loans, and real fee generation continue moving together.
Powered by ZKsync, it delivers a CEX-like trading experience while letting users keep control of their assets. Its Yield Layer also aims to make idle collateral productive instead of leaving it unused.
