At Binance, we regularly review every digital asset we list to ensure it continues to meet the high level of standards we expect. When a crypto or token no longer meets this standard, or the sector evolves, we carry out a more in-depth review and may possibly delist it. We believe this best protects all of our users.
When we perform these reviews, we consider various factors. Some of the factors that lead us to decide to delist a digital asset include:
Team commitment to the project
Level and quality of development activity
Trading volume and liquidity
Network stability and security in the face of attacks
Network/smart contract stability
Level of public communication
Responsiveness to our regular due diligence requests
Evidence of unethical/fraudulent conduct or negligence
Contribution to a healthy and sustainable crypto ecosystem
Based on our latest reviews, we have made the decision to delist and cease trading on all trading pairs for the following tokens on 08/22/2023 at 03:00 (UTC):
SONM (SNM)
Serum (SRM)
DFI.Money (YFII)
Noticed :
The trading pairs that have been removed are: SNM/BTC, SNM/BUSD, SRM/BUSD, YFII/USDT
All trading orders will be automatically deleted after each respective trading pair stops trading.
Please make sure you have not selected the “Hide Small Assets” option in your Funds page so that you can view your assets after trading has stopped.
Deposits of these tokens after 08/23/2023 at 03:00 (UTC) will not be credited to your account.
Withdrawals of these cryptocurrencies and tokens from Binance will no longer be supported after 11/22/2023 at 03:00 UTC.
Delisted tokens can be converted into stablecoins on behalf of users after 11/22/2023 at 03:00 (UTC). The products will be credited to the users' Binance account.
A separate notification will be sent before delisted tokens are converted into stablecoins.
Binance Simple Earn will delist the token(s) mentioned above on 08/21/2023 at 06:00 (UTC). Users can choose to claim their flexible product positions in advance. Failing this, these flexible product positions will be automatically claimed on the date mentioned above, then transferred to the users' Spot wallets.
Binance Loans (Flexible Rate) will close all outstanding loan positions for the token(s) mentioned above as of 08/18/2023 at 06:00 UTC. We strongly recommend users to repay these loans before 08/18/2023 at 06:00 (UTC) to avoid any potential losses.
Binance Gift Card will delist the tokens mentioned above starting 08/22/2023 at 03:00 (UTC). Users are encouraged to manage their gift card tokens in advance to avoid any inconvenience.
Binance Pay will delist the token(s) mentioned above on 08/22/2023 at 03:00 (UTC).
Binance will terminate trading bot services for the aforementioned Spot trading pairs on 08/22/2023 at 03:00 (UTC), if applicable. Users are strongly advised to update and/or cancel their trading bots before trading bot services are discontinued to avoid any potential losses.
