According to BlockBeats, Paradigm released the REVM compiler Revmc on June 21. Paradigm said it recently released a high-performance roadmap for Reth, calling for wider use of "gas per second" as a performance indicator for the EVM blockchain, and detailing plans to expand the blockchain to 1 GB per second and above, which is 1,000 times higher than the current status of Ethereum.

Paradigm will open source Revmc, a compiler for reducing EVM bytecode to native code, demonstrating improvements from 1.85x to 19x on various real-world EVM benchmarks. Revmc has also been integrated in Reth and the chain has been successfully synchronized. Next, Revmc will be integrated in OP Reth for L2 use, and its improvements will play a role in compute-heavy workloads.
