New Zealand-based cryptocurrency exchange Dasset has entered the bankruptcy process. Customers cannot access their accounts. 😟 CEO Stephen Macaskill said that the company resorted to voluntary liquidation. However, new users can still register on the site.

- Grant Thornton, the consulting firm that will be appointed as liquidator, stated that the process is complex and there are nearly 100 types of digital assets.

- The company will contact exchange customers and suppliers in the coming days and publish an initial report on the company website next week.

- According to The Herald, customers are unable to withdraw their funds and some are unable to access their accounts. One customer said he was unable to withdraw $40,000, his entire savings.

Dasset was founded in New Zealand in 2017 and survived the bubble burst that year.
