Binance Labs announced that it has invested in 4 top-performing projects participating in BNB Chain’s Season 6 MVB program, an accelerator program focused on developing the BNB Chain ecosystem. The four top-performing projects in the program are AltLayer, KiloEx, Kinza and Sleepless AI, covering DeFi, infrastructure and Web3 games. The MVB Accelerator program received more than 1,400 applications this season, with 53% of applicants coming from North America and Europe and 36% from the Asia-Pacific region. After rigorous screening, less than 1% of the total applications were selected for these projects.
Four MVB projects selected for investment (in alphabetical order):
AltLayer is an open and decentralized protocol for developers to launch rollups customized for their applications. The protocol provides a codeless Rollups-as-a-Service dashboard built on top of its core network Beacon Layer, allowing for rapid customization of Rollups with fraud/zk proofs. In July 2022, the Ethereum expansion project AltLayer completed a $7.2 million seed round of financing through a SAFT sale, with Polychain Capital, Jump Crypto and Breyer Capital co-leading the investment. Other investors in the round include Ethereum co-founder and Polkadot founder Gavin Wood; Balaji Srinivasan, former Coinbase CTO and former a16z general partner; Circle co-founder Sean Neville; as well as Synthetix and Bodhi Ventures co-founders Kain Warwick and Jordan Momtazi.
KiloEx is building the next generation of user-friendly decentralized perpetual contract DEX, focusing on risk management and capital efficiency. Its platform offers lightning-fast trading speeds and an intuitive trading experience with numerous trading pairs, while providing liquidity providers with risk-neutral positions and LP-friendly solutions.
Kinza is a powerful lending protocol built for a reliable DeFi ecosystem, focused on security and designed to create the best on-chain money market. Its platform features real yield, using a dynamic interest rate curve that generates real income from interest on the protocol and lenders; and specific collateral exposure that helps maximize the capital efficiency of the protocol while isolating the risk of volatile assets.
Sleepless AI is a virtual companion game based on AI blockchain, using AIGC and LLM to create rich story-based gameplay and organic interactions with characters. The project is currently developing three games. The first game is "HIM", which is a virtual boyfriend otome game (note: an otome game is a love simulation game targeting female groups) with unique features. SBT roles, these roles are immutable and based on the chain.
