Data: Gas consumption in the NFT market on Ethereum hit a new low in the past two years

According to Glassnode data, gas consumption in the Ethereum network NFT market has dropped to levels not seen since June 2021. Among them, trading activities on the NFT markets OpenSea, Blur, LooksRare, Rarible and SuperRare currently account for only 1.85% of the total gas usage of the Ethereum network. In January 2022, transactions on OpenSea alone accounted for 28.69% of Ethereum’s total gas consumption.
