According to BlockBeats, on August 2, BNB Chain officially announced that the opBNB mainnet will be launched in mid-August and will be open to infrastructure providers first. It is expected to be open to ordinary users from the end of August to early September. Data shows that the opBNB testnet has so far processed more than 7 million transactions, connected 435,972 wallets, deployed more than 40 dApps, processed more than 86,000 blocks per day, and processed 100,000-150,000 transactions per day, with more than 6,000 active users per day. The future goal of opBNB is to make more improvements including fraud proofs, account abstraction, data availability, interoperability, and decentralized sorters.
