The defense firm has confirmed that CZ has settled in the prison in Lompoc. It is said to be a low-security federal prison.
I looked at it and it may be FCI LOMPOC II. There is a satellite camp with more than 100 people. The environment may be relatively better with fewer people.
For friends who care about my cousin, I found a letter from Gwendolyn Stone, who was once imprisoned in Lompoc Federal Prison, to her family, describing the situation when she first entered. The translation is as follows:
I have arrived and settled in the Lompoc Federal Prison Camp. The people here are very friendly and welcoming. I am not worried about my safety and can sleep well. On the first night I met a small group of believers who were doing Bible study. There seems to be a vibrant prison ministry here.
The hardest thing to adapt to is the segregation system here. There are several groups called "cars" here, and they eat and get along together. White people are called "Woods", and Hispanics, Chinese/Japanese/Pacific Islanders and African Americans all sit together at their own tables in the restaurant. If you try to sit with one of them, they tell you, "You can't sit here, you're not one of us."
There's also a table for independent or ungrouped people. I sat there with other ungrouped white people and people from Yemen, India, Iran, and other countries. Segregation is mainly just in the dining room and TV room. It feels more like a high school clique than anything else. The leader of each group controls the channels on their group's TV. There are several TVs in the room, each with its own FM frequency, allowing anyone to tune in with headphones. I don't have a radio yet because I won't be shopping until next Monday. Although I'm not eager to be in the TV room, I'm most looking forward to buying some better shoes.
There are some people from Idaho in this camp. They say it's much better than the prison in Idaho.
That's all, but it's a good idea. You can see that there are Chinese and Asian groups, so even if there are no independent cells, there shouldn't be serious racial discrimination issues. I wish CZ a good rest, reading and writing books, and looking forward to "Memoirs of a Cryptocurrency Master".
By the way, who else has been imprisoned in Lompoc?Dom, the family hero in "Fast and Furious".
