FET, AGIX, OCEAN Are Merging: What You Need to Know About ASI Token and Merger History
What is ASI Token?
FET will be positioned as the reserve token of the alliance. However, later Artificial SuperIntelligence will become the $ASI Token. The conversion rate is 1:1. For every 1 FET you will receive 1 ASI Token. After this renaming, many changes come with it. We will evaluate these in more detail later in the article.
I Have FET Token. What should I do?
If you hold FET tokens on a centralized or decentralized exchange, they will automatically become ASI tokens. You don't need to do anything. It was said that if you keep it in an offline place such as a cold wallet, a clearing mechanism will be created for conversion after a while. You will be able to convert through a possible website.
I Have OCEAN or AGIX Token. What should I do?
Likewise, OCEAN and AGIX token holders do not need to do anything. These tokens will also be converted into ASI Tokens. Again, if you keep it in an offline place other than an exchange, a mechanism will be designed for this conversion. From there you will be able to perform the conversion. You can perform this conversion at any time after the platform is opened. The important point here is conversion rates. FET tokens will convert at a 1 to 1 ratio. For every 1 FET you own, you will receive 1 ASI token. However, the conversion rate for OCEAN and AGIX is different. You will receive 0.433226 ASI for every 1 OCEAN you own, and 0.433350 ASI token for every 1 AGIX. These conversion rates will be fixed and you will be able to convert whenever you want.
A former employee of Ocean Protocol has created a website on this subject. By entering how many tokens you have here, you can see the conversion amounts and the amount of tokens you will have.
