❓: How to use Fantasy Westward Journey’s economic model to optimize the game’s SND player experience?

First, analyze several types of economic models in Dreams:

1⃣

Fantasy client game economic structure model:

Very simple, single currency gold coins. Purchase point cards and gold coins through RMB for two-way consignment. Gold coins are produced through standard output in the game. Gold coins can buy almost all game supplies.

Although it is very free, the problem is that it is too free, and some black products will eat up the profits that players can obtain. For example, a player is active in the game for 10 hours a day and earns 10,000 gold coins, but the studio uses a bunch of trumpets to squeeze out the player's output, and the player has no way to obtain high game income and output.

The second problem is that the price of consignment will fluctuate extremely sharply, making it difficult for players to feel safe in the gaming environment. When the material fluctuations are particularly severe, players will consider whether the items will depreciate today and whether they will depreciate tomorrow when playing. The project team needs to control and intervene so that players will not be so worried about playing the game.

The economic model of Fantasy Mobile Game: There are three currencies, magatama, gold coins and silver coins.

Players can buy things that other players cannot buy with gold coins by paying, recharging, or directly in the Magatama Mall. Gold coins circulate among players. By actively producing a small amount of gold coins, players can use gold coins to buy babies and equipment in the trading house. In addition, silver coins can be produced in large quantities to improve game points and improve your own strength.

The crux of the problem is that magatama is isolated to all players through payment. If you don’t pay, you will never be able to buy the things you can buy with magatama in the game.

So in this model, players have no way to actually obtain the rarest items in the game. We have negated this economic model, because there is no large amount of profits transferred to players, and players cannot make money in it.

The third economic model:

After Xu Bo came out of the Dream Team, he created the "Shenwu" economic model made by the Duoyi Shenwu team.

Currency is divided into: 1) Consignment card. If you buy a consignment card in RMB, you can buy some time-saving and labor-saving tools or honorary materials.2) The standard output of gold coins in the game can buy a series of things. 3) Shenwu coins, some things can only be bought with gold coins, and some can only be bought with Shenwu coins. This dilutes some opportunities for players to get gold coins and make money with gold coins, because the team can get more profits, so the materials in the game are divided into gold coins and Shenwu coins.

This model is also unhealthy, because the manufacturer plunders most of the profits through Shenwu coins, and the gold coins that players get have been diluted. As for Shenwu 4, it is a mobile game, including Fantasy, New Zhuxian, and Chang'an Fantasy. The four currencies in it are more complicated. The circulation method is to assume that you have hit a very powerful baby and sell it to others. Others use Magatama-RMB payment currency to buy it. After the purchase, the Magatama in your hand becomes a bound jade, which cannot be circulated twice. That is, when I sell the money I charge to other players, other players can no longer use the money I charge to buy other people's things after getting the money I charge, and it can only be circulated once.

This is not a healthy economic model either. Although the Fantasy system is a type, it also subdivides many different economic models. After we thoroughly studied the economic model, we found that these manufacturers plundered a large amount of money that players could earn in order to make more profits for themselves (except for the Fantasy PC game).

Fantasy PC games are of course very good, but the problem is that the interests of players are easily plundered by the black industry, so we designed a three-currency economic system under the model. The three-currency economic system allows players to make money in the game without any payment isolation. The money earned can be withdrawn, and even any paid items in the game can be used to buy more tokens, or stable tokens in the game.

How does SND do it?

Our economic model design is not to copy Fantasy or any product of Fantasy, but to make a lot of innovations based on the Fantasy economic model. Of course, the team has made a lot of innovations in the gameplay and numerical design. Because the attributes of players in mobile games, PC games and current chain games are different, even chain game players who come to play games do not have so much time to experience or study a game in depth in the early stage. In the later stage, I definitely hope that everyone can slowly study and understand it in depth.When it was first launched, players didn’t have much time to research, so the proportion of placement and idle attributes in the entire game was greatly increased.

That’s why players can continue to play in the game, because there are people to guide them, they don’t have to spend a lot of time, and they can also make money in the game. When designing, we considered the pain points of many categories and combined them with how Crypto products should be designed.
