Asset management firm WisdomTree has received approval from the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to list its cryptocurrency exchange-traded products (ETPs) on the London Stock Exchange (LSE). According to an announcement on Wednesday, WisdomTree’s Physical Bitcoin (BTCW) and Physical Ethereum (ETHW) ETPs are expected to begin trading on May 28, available only to professional investors with a fee of 35 basis points. The FCA previously banned sales to retail investors in 2020 and recently relaxed its stance on such products. WisdomTree is one of the first companies to receive approval from the U.K. regulator.
