I remember when I was in college, I and a roommate stayed in school to work part-time during the summer vacation in previous years, but this year he went home for something. Before leaving, he repeatedly told me not to work the night shift, but I didn't listen to his advice because I didn't have a good family background and thought that there were still a few classmates in the dormitory building.
One night after work, I was walking alone on the small road back to the dormitory. Suddenly, I heard the sound of wheels driving slowly on the road. I looked back in disbelief, because this road is very narrow and bumpy, and usually almost no vehicles will drive in here. But I didn't think much and continued to move forward, but I felt that the car was getting slower and slower as it approached me. I couldn't help but look back curiously. At this time, I was startled because it looked broken and old, and I couldn't see anyone in the car, but I thought it might be because of my myopia and turned back to continue moving forward. When the car drove by me, I looked inside the car unconsciously, but there was still no one!!!
This time I was really scared, and I quickly ran to the convenience store in the opposite direction of the dormitory building. The owner of the convenience store saw me panicking and asked what happened. I said I saw an unmanned old car driving to the dormitory building. The owner said how could he go out to check. He asked if I saw it wrong, there was no car on the road, and he had never seen a car on this road. Because I was scared, I talked to the owner in the store for a while before asking him to accompany me back to the dormitory building. After that, I never worked the night shift again.
