Fundstrat Global Advisors Managing Partner Tom Lee is making a six-figure prediction for Bitcoin (BTC).
Bitcoin could explode more than 500% from current levels within the next five years, Lee said in a new CNBC interview.
When asked to give a timeline for his prediction, the Fundstrat managing partner said Bitcoin could rise to “around $200,000 within five years.”
As for the basis for his bullish thesis, Lee said that Bitcoin is actually very useful and the impact of the US-licensed Bitcoin spot fund #ETFBitcoin is underrated.
“Bitcoin has a multiplier of about 4:1, meaning that for every $1 of inflow into the market, Bitcoin’s market cap increases by $4. So if the world has $100 billion or $200 billion in demand, Bitcoin’s market cap could increase to $800 billion.”
