To be honest, Ethereum's performance this year is not satisfactory compared to strong coins such as SOL. The only reason I can think of is that the market funds are limited and funds can only chase a few popular sectors. However, this does not mean that Ethereum will be surpassed by other public chains. In the third and fourth quarters, when the Federal Reserve begins to cut interest rates and the Ethereum ETF is officially approved, I believe it will still have a very impressive performance, but it requires enough patience.
