Nine major mining coins

1. Bitcoin Bitcoin (BTC) A P2P form of digital currency. Peer-to-peer transmission means a decentralized payment system.

2. Bitcoin Cash Bitcoin Cash (BCH) modifies the Bitcoin code to support large blocks (increasing the block size to 8M), does not include the SegWit function, and is a blockchain asset generated by the BitcoinABC scheme.

3. Litecoin Litecoin (LTC) A network currency based on "peer-to-peer" technology, and an open source software project under the MIT/X11 license. It can help users pay instantly to anyone in the world.

4. Monero Monero (XMR) An open source cryptocurrency created in April 2014, it focuses on privacy, decentralization and scalability.

5. DASH DASH, formerly known as Darkcoin, is an encrypted digital currency based on Bitcoin that improves and adds many new features such as a two-tier reward system network, also known as a master node network. It also includes anonymous payments (Darksend) to improve interchangeability, and instant payment functions that achieve instant transaction confirmation without relying on central authority.

6. Ethereum Classic Ethereum Classic (ETC) is an open source, public, blockchain-based distributed computing platform. It provides a decentralized Turing-complete virtual machine.

7. Zcash (ZEC) is the first blockchain system to use a zero-knowledge proof mechanism, which can provide complete payment confidentiality while still being able to use a public blockchain to maintain a decentralized network.

8. DigiByte (DGB) is a global decentralized payment network and digital currency inspired by Bitcoin. DigiByte can conduct fast transactions with little or no fees.

9. Kadena provides the next generation of blockchain platforms for enterprises and entrepreneurs by solving the scalability and security issues that hinder the widespread adoption of blockchain. We provide simple solutions and tools for developing on blockchains, including Pact, a purpose-built smart contract language; a high-performance, BFT consensus private distributed ledger protocol; and Chainweb, a fundamental breakthrough in the expansion of public blockchain proof of work.
