Ripple (XRP)
According to data from CoinmarketCap, Ripple's XRP has gained 66.84 percent in value in the last 24 hours. The crypto token received a significant boost after a federal judge ruled that XRP “is not necessarily a security.”
Following the decision, XRP showed an impulsive increase of 101.92 percent, rising from $0.46954 to $0.94812 in a short time. The price has pulled back and the altcoin is trading at $0.78731 at the time of writing. XRP is currently the 4th ranked cryptocurrency on CoinMarketCap with a market value of $41.47 billion.
Stellar (XLM)
The decision in favor of Ripple came as a win for the entire crypto industry as several other crypto tokens responded positively. Among these is Stellar's XLM, which provides the second highest return after XRP. According to data from CoinMarketCap, XLM gained 57.70 percent in value in the last 24 hours.
Immediately after the decision of XRP was announced, it initially increased by 103.97 percent. The price of XLM climbed from $0.096109 to $0.196028 before pulling back. XLM was traded at $0.152343 at the time of writing, ranked 20th on CoinMarketCap. XLM's market value is $4.13 billion.
Solana (SOL) altcoin
The price of the SOL altcoin gained 32.93 percent in the last 24 hours, thanks to Ripple's positive decision. In its first rise, the price climbed from $21.81 to $26.85. It rose as high as $32.37 before pulling back lower. SOL was trading at $28.67 at the time of writing. Solana, with a market value of $11.56 billion, ranks 8th on CoinMarketCap.
Lido DAO (LDO)
According to CoinMarketCap, the LDO altcoin gained 27.17 percent and became one of the top gainers of the last 24 hours. LDO climbed from $1.88 to $2.29 immediately after the judge's statement on Ripple's case. It extended gains before pulling back, reaching a local high of $2.53. At the time of writing, LDO was sold for $2.41 and ranked 30th on CoinMarketCap with a market cap of $2.12 billion.
Cardano (ADA)
Cardano's ADA joined the top-gaining altcoins on CoinMarketCap with a price change of 24.92 percent in the last 24 hours. ADA's initial rally was from $0.288 to $0.366. The price extended as high as $0.379 before retracing to $0.363 at the time of writing. The recent rally placed Cardano at#7in the CoinmarketCap rankings with a market cap of $12.67 billion.
