After the collapse of FTX in 2022, Robinhood received a subpoena from the SEC. The subpoena covered topics such as Robinhood's cryptocurrency listings, cryptocurrency custody, and platform operations.

Previously, after the SEC sued Binance and Coinbase in June 2023, Robinhood delisted tokens such as MATIC, SOL, ADA, FIL, and SAND. Currently, Robinhood offers trading for 15 cryptocurrencies, including AAVE, AVAX, BTC, BCH, LINK, COMP, DOGE, ETH, ETC, LTC, SHIB, XLM, XTZ, UNI, and USDC.
