CoinVoice has recently learned that on July 10, according to The Straits Times, the data of gaming hardware giant Razer was leaked. Last Saturday, a seller on the hacker forum sought to sell the stolen Razer data for $100,000 in cryptocurrency.

Razer said it is aware of the possible data breach and is investigating.

The Straits Times investigation found that the data being sold included source code and backend access logins for Razer's websites and its products. This included folders called zVault - Razer's digital wallet launched in March 2017 and later replaced by Razer Gold in December 2018 - as well as folders allegedly containing encryption keys and files related to its rewards system.

On the hacker forum, the seller said that he was willing to sell the data to customers for $100,000 in Monero, and would accept offers below the stipulated amount. [Original link]
